tried to charge me $400.00 to get my taxes done. I am currently Unemployed and living underneath the Poverty Level. I have no idea why the Federal Government is even allowing them to do this. I did my taxes on Turbo Tax came out to by $193.00 still a rip off but more liveable than $400.00.

Charged me about $300 (350 minus a 50 dollar “discount”). I used to go to my local accountant for about $100. For a simple file like mine, it’s overpriced. Came here once to try it out, not coming back.

Worst location ever! Made an appointment a YEAR in advance only for them to cancel on me the day off because they scheduled someone else for that time. Made an appointment for 10 am another day and got there 10 am sharp only to wait an hour and a half for them to take me… last time using them!

I tried to have my tax prepared at this location, but was not able to due to a technical issue that they cannot resolve for some reason. The manager Vanessa tried to help out but to no avail. It baffles me as to how they were not able to resolve the issue they created. Every time they pull up my profile, it will show as my sister’. It was escalated to their IT dept but they were useless as well. No call from manager or any of the staff for updates. When I called to request for my documents so I could find another preparer I was put on hold for 45 mins by the receptionist Christine, who literally forgot I was still on. I would be taking my business somewhere else, which is very unfortunate because I didn’t have issues prior to this year. Such a waste of my time.

Even though it can be just a bit higher than other options, our tax consultant Gary I. on Norridge (H & R Block) did a fantastic job going through all our paperwork, including asking as many questions to assure we accounted for all expenses. At the end of the day, the extra you pay here is worth it.
