“Ramiro had amazing customer service, he was very busy but always made sure to check on us and make sure we didn’t need anything and I recommend him for any higher position he can get”

“Superb hotel, well located near everything, beautiful, large, clean rooms and great service BUT ask for a room overlooking Kinsie or Wabash street because if you have a room overlooking State street it is very noisy at night, even on the 8th floor. In fact, it is the sirens of ambulances and police that scream at all hours of the night, several times an hour. Wear earplugs and/or request a room NOT facing State. The view from the 2nd floor of the bar is really beautiful, having a drink there is very pleasant, the service is excellent”

“Under construction but the website/reviews mentioned it. However it was not an issue. For me, a one day hotel stay comes down to 2 things. Ease of check in and quality of room. Check in was easy. Staff were quick and efficient. Plus very friendly. Room was sized as advertised. Bathroom was a bonus. Large space. Of course it was clean and tidy as well. Recommend.Walkability: Great location.”

“Walkability: Great location for visiting Chicago. Near shopping on Michigan Ave and even closer to the luxury stores on Oak and Rush. Close to the lake and all the parks and trails that run along it. Very walkable location.Noteworthy details: Great example of preserving a beautiful old building while remaking it for modern times.”

“Absolutely in love with the ACME. Perfect local, far enough from Michigan Ave to avoid the hustle but close enough to quickly walk there. Next to classic pizza place, Eataly, and all the quaint restaurant gems people rarely know about. Berkshire is absolutely fabulous! Rooms are great, and service is fun, friendly, and a pleasure to joke with. I love the ambience, the quaintness, and the culture of the ACME. I live near Chicago and am done with the big noisy hotels, and this is my new weekend get-away place.Rooms: Love the creative decore!Nearby activities: Eataly, Uno Pizza, all the fabulous restaurants, casino....everything right there!Walkability: Near everything that makes Chicago great.”

“Obviously, because it is a Ritz Carlton we expected a lot before we arrived. This hotel did not disappoint at all. The room had an amazing view of the lake. The location of this hotel is amazing. You can walk to great shopping and restaurants. You are surrounded by amazing restaurants and shops. You can even walk to the lake or the river. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.”

“Stayed for the weekend in a lake view suite Pros: - That view was STUNNING. It had an amazing view of the lake with very little blocked by other buildings. Sunrises were sooooo beautiful and bright - Staff: All the staff we encountered were polite and friendly. What you would expect from a Four Seasons. One of the room service runners went above and beyond one morning. I had requested one of my green juices with extra ginger if possible. When the food arrived I asked if they were able to accommodate my request, and he had no clue, but he offered to go back to get me what I wanted. I told him it was no problem, but after about ten mins he was back with a fresh juice with plenty of ginger. Doormen were sooooooo helpful and friendly. Always asking if we needed any help or a taxi, or waiting for a ride service car. - Room service: we had a breakfast comp so I ordered both mornings. It took some time to get someone to answer my phone call the first morning, but not a biggie. Food arrived exactly as I wanted - DJ in the lounge/bar area on the weekend. I wasn't expecting such a "party" but it was pretty nice. I could tell most people there were hotel guests, or people here for work - It's not that close to Miracle Mile and Millienium park area, buuuuut it was one of the only hotels in the area that had larger suites that weren't overly outrageous in price. The suite we stayed in was a king suite, with french doors that separated the bedroom from the living room area that had a pull out couch. Perfect for a family with small kids I think. The only drawback to the room was that the bathroom was on the opposite side of the living room area. But maybe actually great if you don't want your date/partner to hear you using the bathroom if they were in the bedroom. Neutral comment: - Older and a bit outdated in terms of the rooms, at least the lake view suite we stayed in. But this is such a minor comment. Cons: - The TV remote. I think because it was one of those smooth remotes without any actual tactile buttons, it just sucked. It was annoying trying to change changes, to search, even just to turn the TV on/off. We had to press down really hard, and sometimes it would signal the TV twice - turning off and then turning back on because we pressed so hard. - Expensive: It was pricey, but it was a Four seasons hotel and had all the four seasons amenities and service affiliated with a Four seasons Would I come again? Sure”

“This restaurant was fantastic. My room was clean and they let the faucets drip I guess to protect the pipes from freezing over. This hotel breakfast, was by far the best breakfast that I ever had at any hotel. They serve things like spinach, of course, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, and even boiled eggs, along with a plethora of fruit. The weight room was extremely basic, but they did have three treadmills.”

“We stayed here over the weekend while moving our son and daughter in law from Missouri into their apartment in Chicago near the guesthouse hotel. This is by far the nicest place we have ever stayed! I would have moved in if I could have! We got upgraded to a 2 bedroom/2 bath suite. SO BEAUTIFUL! Every detail was perfect, the decor, the well stocked kitchen and plenty of linens and towels. The lobby area was beautiful as well! Very cozy, stylish and clean. The location was great for us. The street was not busy, was very well-lit and there were many places within walking distance to get something to eat/drink/necessities. We felt completely safe.A special shout out to Connor at the front desk. He was so friendly and always very helpful whenever we had any questions. We will definitely stay here anytime we come to visit!”

“Walkability: Very good location and easy walk to for your stay and-or a good meal.Food & drinks: The food at the hotel restaurant was inventive and very tasty. The crab cake was fresh and the waygu burger and fries were delicious. I also enjoyed the non alcoholic beverage served with dinner.”

“Absolutely beautiful hotel with very friendly staff and well-appointed rooms. I appreciated the security measures in place, such as the locked doors with card access after 9 pm, which made me feel safe throughout my stay. Room service was great. Our room was thoroughly cleaned by the time we returned in the afternoon yesterday. It was a pleasant feeling to return to a tidy room after a full day of exploring the city. However, I was disappointed by the comfort of the beds, especially considering the nightly room rate. The pillows deflated easily, and the mattresses were excessively firm, making it challenging to sleep comfortably during both nights of my stay. I ended up getting less than 5 hours of sleep last night due to the discomfort of the beds.Rooms: I wish that the beds were more comfortable. I have had trouble with pain in my back for a long time, and the beds made it a bit worse. It was difficult for my friend and I to adjust ourselves comfortably in our own beds to where our necks didn’t hurt or our backs.Safety: A key card is used to gain access to the hotel after 9 PM. This was an important safety measure for guests.Walkability: It was easy to walk to a variety of restaurants, stores and activities throughout the city. Less than 20 minute walk to the Willis Tower.”

“Beautiful historic architecture, great location near all the sights, lovely bathrooms with large soaking tubs, and a fantastic premium tea selection in the morning. I can't say enough good things about this hotel, but where the hotel truly shines is the excellent customer service and amenities. Everyone we encountered seemed to do something extra to make me and my family feel welcome. Shea put together an amazing welcome basket for my son, and Emily at the front desk was very accommodating of our requests and made sure we had a wonderful stay.”

“Nice vintage hotel. Parked across the street at Hilton public parking. Rooms are affordable when there are zero events going on. Location is in business district. Just stayed 3 nights for a sales meeting. Places close early. Nothing around that’s open so it’s difficult to walk in the negative temps to find a cozy pub.”

“Family staycation during spring break. Really an exemplary hotel experience that lives up to the St Regis brand. Everyone that helped us just has a wonderful attitude and is very genuine. I made a note it was my child’s birthday over the trip and they even managed to put us on a floor that matched his age! Small details like this are what make experiences stand out and create fun memories. Pool was lovely. Breakfast at Miru was delicious and the room was amazing, but the staff are what make the difference. Can’t wait to stay again!”

“Great service. Super knowledgeable and helpful. Room service was quick and the front desk staff remembered my name when I walked past. 4 min walk to red line stop. I stayed during a snowstorm and I had fricken awesome coffee and sat in the lobby and pet puppers. Workout facilities were nice and clean.Nearby activities: Beatrix is right in the hotel. Coffee shop with pastries was spectacular. Sushi-San is around the corner.Walkability: Super easy to walk. 4 min walk to red line stopFood & drinks: Took some g&ts to go back up to the room.”

“I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. Rooms are spacious and clean. Views are very pretty, especially at night. It’s quiet and nice in the hotel, location is good too, area seems to be calm and nice, there is subway station near by and Whole Foods 5-10 minutes away walking. Nice breakfast with nice food assortment (oat meal, yogurt, fruit, bagels, muffins, eggs, sausages and etc). I wasn’t driving, so Im not aware of parking situation, I know they have parking on site, but not sure if you need to pay extra. There is door dash discount and fun self beer bar. There is pool as well, very clean and not crowded (at least when I was there. It was New Years). The only things that were not great are no conditioner in the bottle (I think it’s an easy fix, but I didn’t want to bother), and mattresses were not great. I had a little back discomfort in the morning. Maybe it was just too soft and it would be fine for some people.Overall Im happy with the stay and can recommend it!The reception on a second or third floor, so after you enter the hotel, you need to take an elevator. That was interesting, I never seen it before, but still pretty easy access.Oh forgot to mention, I’m a female solo traveler and I had no issues and felt very safe.Safety: As a female solo traveler I felt very safe in the hotel.”

“My 2-night stay was wonderful. Was fortunate to have a suite on the executive floor. The breakfast was good. There were vegetarian options which pleasantly surprised me. The heat in the bedroom area of the suite didn’t work, even after a maintenance technician “fixed” it. I had to turn it off eventually because it was blowing cold air. The living room was the only place where the heat worked. The other issue I had was at check out. Someone named “Eitan”(sp?) did not ask how I could be helped until I finally spoke first. He was very curt & barely looked up until I gave him my room number which indicated the executive suite. Then he decided to try to be nicer, but it was too late. It barely takes 1 minute to print a receipt and by then his attitude already left a bad impression. It shouldn’t take having an executive suite to receive good customer service. He should be kind to everyone, period.Aside from those things, I had a very nice stay.”

“The cosmopolitan is joining the MGM and therefore also Marriott. You're able to use your Marriott points as well as get points for your stays. One issue is that they don't have the self sign in to check into your room so there could still be a very long line. When I came I got in here at around 2:00 a.m. I waited about 3 hours for a room but they were very apologetic and wasn't the fault of the staff and they made it up by copying the suite that you could see in the video I posted, which is absolutely beautiful as well as giving me some resort credit.”

“Hidden gem! We booked the room with the Lake View and it was easily the best decision of our Chicago trip. Stunning views from 40th floor, great location, nice rooms and decent breakfast. What else could you ask for :) There’s a loop stop very close by. But I also recommend using the Divvy bikes station next to the hotel to roam around the downtown.”

“Very happy with my stay here. It's right in a major part of the city and close to the river, the lake, or the popular park and tourist destinations.Rooms were clean, service was top notch, and they have a very welcoming lobby. The one thing I wasn't too impressed with was the included breakfast. Fairly boring, basic, and not great quality. Fine if you just want a quick muffin or piece of toast”
