I've had HiPoint for 9 months now and the speeds have been pretty good in my condo building in downtown Chicago. Billing and customer service are always pretty quick to get in touch. I usually get 500-800 Mbps down.My complaint is that service isn't very reliable. In 9 months, there have been 2 outages in 9 months, with each lasting a few hours. The latest one today still has certain sites and services unreachable 14 hours later.

Frequent outages that take long to fix. As I write this review there is an outage. Slow speeds available that don't even match competitors for the same price point. If you have other options, go elsewhere. For management that has packaged deals with this company, please reconsider more reliable servicers.

My service is out and I’ve called six times so far only to be hung up on each time without speaking to anyone…great service!!! I’m glad my building forces us to use this fly by night company…

I experienced an outage with my internet today and they got someone out to my home to fix my internet very quickly. From the time it went out to it being fixed was just under 2 hours. Also, Reshmi was super friendly and attentive over the phone. She followed up to make sure everything was okay. Originally I was frustrated, but the quick resolve to my issue was really appreciated. Thank you hipoint!

I give two stars for the nice Customer Service Professionals. They always answer when I call and are extremely nice and sympathetic to my concerns. This service is not good. Every time it rains, my service goes out. It lags when I'm working all of the time. I'm very frustrated!

Terrible service. Inconsistent speeds. Frequent network issues. Tech support tries to blame customers and their routers as an excuse.Speeds sometimes dropping below 1mps, when I'm supposed get 250mbps.

I was having trouble setting up my internet, over the phone the staff was super patient and helpful. It wasn't possible to resolve the issue over phone, next morning they sent the technician Hamid. He was very polite and helpful it took him short amount of time and did a great job. I highly recommend. Great customer service.

My internet was not connected to the DirecTv appliance (referred to as Genie). I spoke with HiPoint, and a technician was scheduled ASAP. The technician, Habid, was here this morning, and quickly resolved the problem. Excellent service from customer support through on-location service!

We moved in to a new building with internet service provided by Hipoint. Because the previous resident did not use the building provider, we had to call a technician to fix the connection of internet jacks. The costumer support at the phone was very good and service was scheduled for the next business day in the morning. Hamad arrived on time, was very attentive and efficient. Now we happily have internet service to write this review.

Our building uses HI Point as a provider and I’ve never had a worst user experience and customer service experience - they make Comcast look like all stars. The internet goes out 3 times a month and has always done this for the past year. We had unusable internet for the first two weeks at the start of the year (Happy 2022). When it is on - barely usage. They promise Gig speeds, but I barely receive a megabyte. The owner has come out to our building to have a sit down with tenants because this has happened so often. No fixes or improvements have been made. If you’re a building owner tying to get a bundled deal do NOT use this firm.
