Excellent used bookshop. Everything was so well organized. I left knowing there was more that I wanted to return and buy. Where I often leave used bookstore not sure if they had something I was looking for, but I was just unable to find it.

None of the books are priced and you must bring them up to the counter for them to name a price in the air based on flimsy online research. Dishonest, predatory behavior; a quick way to signal that you have zero integrity or sense as a business.

A cozy bookstore with tons of used books. The people there were very helpful when I made my first visit. It was not difficult finding out what kinds of books I am interested in, although the standing space was narrow for me.

Incredibly nice people. It can be strange as you don't know what a book will cost until they ring you up, but it's never a jumpscare.

This place is a nice interesting find.
Anyplace that gives books new life is worth a look.
Things to be prepared for if you are exploring. Book prices are based off of market prices via internet searches at checkout so if you’re trying to save time give the books a quick google before you go to check out. This personally is not to my taste but others seem ok with it.
It is not super accessible, if you are plus size or use mobility aids you will find navigating through tricky or even impossible. I am a size 20 and often had to scoot sideways and still brushed against the shelves. Otherwise they do a great job at fitting a lot of books into a limited space.

This was a very interesting and enjoyable experience. Random books, prices are based off Google searches, and what seems to be a tight knit of volunteers. I did go looking for certian books, didn't find them (or some of those authors), but left happily with 3 other books.

Huge selection, although it doesn't change often. Not many options of books in other languages. I've visited this bookstore several times and have felt welcomed. However, during my last visit I noticed that the owner was regularly checking up on me, which made me feel uncomfortable. The books have gotten too expensive. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

A nice used book store! The owner is very nice and helpful! Would definitely recommend going there to check out books that you may want that have been out for a while. Books organized in a unique way, but he helps you understand how to navigate the selection.

Great used bookstore, cool staff, easy donation. Re the "pricing" complaint, I didn't look before I went, nice guy found it very quickly, said "I'll look up the price..." I checked inside the cover and blurted "it says $10 here" and he said "that's not ours", looked it up and it was $4.75. #leftadonation

This book store does not have prices on the books. They "price" the books once you bring them to the register when they look them up online. I've been to hundreds of bookstores and have never been in one that did not individually price their books or indicate a pricing method (like the books by the pound place that was in Evanston). Prices should be figured before a book is placed for sale. It does not matter that this is a non-profit and run by volunteers. Resale and thrift stores price their merchandise, so why does Heirloom books not do this basic business task. Who's to say that they decide to price something more just because they don't like something you say? Or how a customer looks? Again I shop used book stores across the country and have never seen anything like this.
