Another update: Went to another Dr. Office and these guys are holding my records hostage. My new PCP requested it at least 3 times over the last year. Can't I just get a clean break from you people?
Changing my review back to 1. A referral I was supposed to get was never sent. AGAIN. Then I'm told I had to get it approved again even though I have a PPO. Then my pharmacy sent a request for a refill for a medication two weeks ago and here I am rationing my medication because they can't be bothered. This place is absolute garbage minus the new doctor. She is very sweet. I hope she runs as fast as she can from this place. Also, stay as far away from Dr. Lentzou as you can. She's the worst and treats people like they're worthless.
Dr. Vargas, gone. Dr. Salvia, gone. NP Maribell, gone. I feel like I'm in a revolving door. Who is my PCP now? I have absolutely no idea. Phone calls don't get returned, orders for specialists don't get sent, forms I need for work "aren't guaranteed". Literally I'm sitting here at a specialist waiting on them to send this order now. This is getting ridiculous. Only reason I even give them 2 stars is because the new NP is nice.
Update: now that NP is gone. Hmmm.....

I've been using their services for about three years now. Today was the first time that an office person was rude to me because I could not understand her. The office people have been very efficient and helpful . . . until today.

Edit: after writing this review, a doctor from the practice reached out, apologized, and rectified the situation. Moving to 4 stars based on the improvement.Original post: I found the N.P. and other staff I spoke with to be quite rude and unhelpful on the phone.

This place is honest to God the best medical experience available. The staff are friendly and attentive, the nurse practitioners and doctors seem to be truly passionate about what they do... It's a dream!

I was recommending to the clinic by a neighbor of mine and I decided to look into it and the doctor's and staff are very nice and they care about your health and they listen not just push medication at you and I recommend this clinic to all in need of services.

It's a great practice but this particular location is the pits. When you call if they're busy you'll be put on a 20+ minute hold. If you're running late due to traffic or something else they give you 15 minutes from the time of your original appointment to get there otherwise they reschedule you. However when you do get there on time you'll wait in the waiting room for at least 20 minutes and then when they bring you back to a room you'll wait another 20 minutes. My last appointment between the two waits were almost an hour. And it wasn't busy. The Palos Heights location is much better.
