Not happy with them, bought socks for my wife who was out of town.They were the wrong size. In original packaging and never opened and they wouldn't let me exchange for the correct size because I didn't have the receipt. Didn't ask for money back, just an even exchange for the proper size. Lost a long time customer.

I would caution against letting this store gift wrap when they’re busy. The ornament I bought was broken on the corner when the recipient opened the gift. Of course she was too gracious to let me take it back since she really loved the ornament and chose to hang it broken. Better to take it and wrap it properly yourself.Update: 5 stars! The ornament was replaced and sent to the receiver. And the communication was excellent. They even corrected my mistake when I transposed the address. Thanks for great customer service!

I went in because I saw they were open later. I didn’t have anything in mind that I was shopping for but was able to find some things for my sister in law. They have a lot of holiday kitchen items, purses, ladies winter wear, Chicago themed gifts, etc. I want to go back and do some shopping for myself!

Cute local store with lots of terrific Chicago-themed (and not) gifts you wouldn’t be able to find at a traditional gift shop on Michigan Avenue. Friendly staff, and super fun to shop here.

This store is adorable, and has a great selection at every price point. More importantly, the staff is very kind. I was in here with my young daughter, and she accidentally broke a glass. They were quick to help us clean it up, and extremely gracious about it!

I’ve shopped at Hazel dozens of times and watched their growth over the years since living in Chicago in 2006. One time stands out the most in the clothing store, specifically: I walked in and needed to find something cute, affordable and practical (not a one-time use) outfit and Marissa immediately sized me up and made some suggestions and the outfit I put together was perfect for the event I was attending. I’ve worn the pieces (dress, bracelet [purchased at the other location, years prior] and earrings) in differing ways over the years and everything is still in great shape. It’s my favorite place in Chicago to treat myself.

A dangerously lovely store! As usual, I visited with the intention of buying gifts for others and walked out with lots of fun things for myself. Really beautiful housewares, and a great selection of gifts for anyone you can think of.
