I would not recommend this place. I paid to have my lawnmower fixed and it stop working after one use. When I brought it back to this place I was ask to pay another deposit. when I didn’t agree to the deposit after a long winded conversation. I was told. “I guess you can’t please everybody”. That statement only further let me know that not all customers are important. Find a more reliable company.

I always drive passed this place and there are 40-50 lawn mowers out front not sure if they are waiting to be serviced or what. Decided to give them my business. Website says certain hours but when you call their number which I assume is a cellphone, it goes straight to voice mail and says their hours of operation. This was 8-12-2023 at 9:30am when I called and I got the voicemail that says that they are open on Saturday from 9am-12pm. Loaded up my lawn mower and drove to the location 11:15am and the places is locked down. I assume they were probably never opened at all for whatever reason. Since I already had my lawn mower loaded I took it to the small engine place in alsip who was open and very friendly. I would hate to have dropped my mower off here to have it serviced only wait for it to be serviced forever or not have reliable hours of operation to pick it up. Please put the money into your business and stand by your hours of operation.

I'd Give it NO Stars If I could!Called to inquire about Edger repair, the Gentleman spoke to me in a tone as If I asked about Used Car Sales! You should update your company info BROTHER, if you don't want to be bothered with the questions. It clearly states edger repair in your services column. Crazy part about it is, my Grandfather was going there for years. Now I see what all the Current Complaints I've heard from other sources is all about.How do you fix all lawn equipment but not edgers!? Man told me take it to a dealer!What Dealer!??It ain't like i can pull up to Chevy and ask for the Used Trimmer Section!??♂️ Our people! Smh It's 2023 get with the times Sir!✌?

Mr Hawkins is really knowledgeable about items that need repair. I would recommend this place to anyone for lawn mower snow blower servicing!

ain't fix the snow blower yet was brought in December 20th and today is January 5th There was no call there's no snow on the ground today.When the snow comes I would like to see the snow blower repaired 16 days is a long time to fix it when they told me oh we will call ? you in 1 week

Excellent repairman...Rude and unprofessional..Arrogant and not concerned about customers time.. Will not open as indicated and Repairs will not be completed as indicated at time of initial transaction..If you can deal with his arrogance and rudeness..He does get the job done and he is a Black business owner...

I was looking for a shop to repair my lawnmower and I am so glad I found Hawkin's. They were extremely polite and prices were very reasonable. He explained the work involved and even gave me advice on lawnmower care at the end of the season. Thank you Hawkin's for excellent customer service and quality work.
