I've shopped at the Edison Park location for years. This one is slightly larger and is just as nice. Pleasant staff, good prices and nice selection.

So glad to still have this location after the Edison Park one closed. Best deli around. Had everything I needed and the employees are really nice and friendly. Something you don't see at the big chains.

Oh I love this old fashioned grocery store to death! It’s a community. It has everything. It has a real butcher that grinds lamburgers from the left over lamb chops That have these wonderful Irish and Italian American brands I don’t see elsewhere It is an epiphany when I can stop buy get some good meat a cream puff or two then walk to the corner and get a READER Wonderful!!

Only place to get safe bone marrow bones for our dogs (their teeth are perfect according to our vet). Last time I was there, I picked up some of their homemade, vegetarian lasagna which is really good.

Nice neighborhood store but even though it is bigger than the one in Edison Park where I live, the one in Edison Park was in a much better location parking and all. This store is still very nice but again this location is much more congested. Miss the other store and lots of the people that did work there that never came to this store. Still all in all same products nice deli, meats, etc.

Been shopping there for over 35 years, great family owned grocery store, fabulous deli with lots of homemade heat and eat meals, deli meats and salads, their egg and onion potato salad is a must have. Just about anything from their deli dept is terrific. Good selection of baked goods in their bakery section, the coffee cakes are from Allegretti's bakery on Lawrence Ave, those are pretty good too. Produce dept and fresh meat depts well stocked and fresh. A nice shopping experience.

Miss Edison Park location, was a longtime regular. So it's been an "adjustment" switching locations, ha, but happy to continue to support a small, local business. Also, best deli salads and homemade sides in the area!!

I like the small feel of this grocery store. They used to have 2 stores but closed the one I liked best! This one on central is very congested to get to. It's still nice the deli is very good and the meat prices are very reasonable compared to the big chain names!! If you can get there try them you will be happy with the deli and butcher dept.

My mother used to shop here in Edgebrook all the time. When I inherited the home in 2001, I stopped at least 2 times a week on my way home from work. Now I live 65 miles away. If I come into the city for any reason, I always try to stop and purchase a number of the prepared deli meals, especially the sloppy joes. Perfect size for one meal for one person. I'll stock up on meals that can be frozen so I can enjoy them over several weeks. Always picked up some of the made-in-store spinach dip and a loaf of unsliced bread to bring back to share with my friends who used to live down the Highway from the Edison Park store where they shopped.Happy Foods has two types of potato salad. If you mix them together in equal portions, you get an even better potato salad that tastes twice as good. The loaded baked potato is superb. Have to bring one home for my goddaughter's daughter as well as one for myself. Now my mouth is watering for Happy Foods deli specialties. Haven't had a chance to shop there since COVID raised up its ugly little self. Looking forward to stopping there again the next time I am in the city.
