This is the home away from home for my pup. He races out of the car and pushes the door open upon arrival! My rescue is treated like a king or prince for daycare and overnights. The staff is all full time, considerate, accommodating, and consistent. I get photos of my doggo regularly throughout the day when he boards or stays over. There are extra services available, such as washes and nail trimming, special one-on-one time, and walks, and a healthy meal plan. I don't know what I would do without this clean, stimulating, safe, and loving environment for my five year old lab/hound. He is social with other dogs and better able to trust new people due to Green Dog. Thank you, and keep up the good work!

If you are looking for a doggie daycare or just simply a Dog groomer, look no further! I absolutely love Green Dog. My girlfriend found this local place to take our dog to and since then our lives have been easier. I don't know if they have treadmills for the dogs but whenever my boy comes home, he is exhausted, not to mention happy!! They offer grooming as well, with some of the best pricing I've seen in the city. I have a cocker spaniel, so frequent hair cuts are a must and the last few the Green Dog crew has done for me have been great. Thank you to the amazing staff

We have been sending our puppy to Green Dog for the past month and absolutely love it!Both boarding and daycare are great. Every drop-off our 10-month old puppy is greeted by name at the door and all the employees are incredibly caring and welcoming. Their online portal is easy to use to input all of your preferences, meal times, nap schedule, allergies, etc. and they follow your instructions to a T.The team goes above and beyond with email wellness updates while boarded. They also recommend additional services (baths, walks, etc.) when needed, and will even wash her blanket and toys before pick-up.Lennon has lots of energy and Green Dog is the one thing that will tucker her out. Clearly by the photos you can see she is having a great time :)Thank you Adam, Justin, Christian, and the rest of the Green Dog team for taking great care of our pup and for providing an affordable and top notch option on the west side.

Our dogs, Spud & Strider, love it here. Spud is usually anxious when he has to be boarded, but he walks into Green Dog with his tail wagging. The staff always greet them by name as soon as we walk in the door. It shows they truly care and are dog-loving people. We've tried other boarding places in Chicago and they don't come close to the level of care shown at Green Dog. Thank you to the hard-working staff for giving our pups a home away from home!

So very sad to be writing this review. This place used to be wonderful, but now I wonder how anyone goes there for daycare. I don't do daycare anymore, but I used to when Brenda owned this wonderful place. I only need boarding now and the last three times my dog has come back so filthy that I can barely let her in my house. The kicker is when I asked how she got so filthy the worker got super defensive about it. I certainly don't expectmy pup to come home clean, but when her white parts are dark gray and I have to bathe her immediately after vacation or work trips, I become more and more against ever utilizing their services. That never happened when Brenda owned GD. My guess is they just don't have the same standards of cleanliness that she did and it shows. How people take there dog there daily is beyond me if their dog comes back a quarter of the filthiness mine did. Guys, seriously, clean the space where the dogs play! It's especially filthy! Again, I'm so very sad to leave this review as we've used GD through at least three dogs. I do think the care is good but the filth is now outweighing anything else and it's just not acceptable. I know you can do better and it's disappointing that you've slid into this dark space. I would truly pay more to make sure I didn't get my dog back in the filthy state she was in. So very disappointing I wish you all the best but it's goodbye for me.

Highly recommend Green Dog for boarding and day care!I loved getting daily updates all day though instagram. Staff is super friendly and caring, and made sure my pup was well taken care of! Shadow had lots of fun!

This place is great! I've been taking my dog here for a few months for both boarding and daycare and it's been nothing but a positive experience. They are friendly and attentive and always greet us at the door by name. That personalized touch is rare these days. Highly recommend this place for your daycare and boarding needs.

This is the only place I would ever send my dog. Anna and the rest of the staff are incredible and couldn't have taken better care of my fur baby. This is the only place I would ever send my dog to for daycare, boarding and they do dog walking too!

We are so grateful we found Green Dog when we did! We're in the neighborhood and it's so easy to walk for drop off and pick up. We've had poor experiences at some other places around the city, but third time's a charm! Our 1.5 year old black lab always comes home exhausted and when we've had any questions or concerns they are always addressed immediately and clearly. Anna and team are incredibly professional, thoughtful and truly love the dogs! I also love being able to schedule daycare and boarding through the online portal. Easy peasy! They seem to be getting busier and busier (which is a great sign!) but are very transparent about making sure they're not scheduling too many pups at once for the safety and comfort of all. Thank you Green Dog!

The place is so clean. Adam and Ana only use eco friendly cleaning products. It even smells nice in there. My dog has been boarded here for her whole life. They take good care of the dogs.

I started taking my dog here for daycare once a week a few months ago and am so glad I do! Bama has a great time when she visits, and the staff are super professional and responsive. I get updates via Instagram throughout the day on how she's doing and she is always having a blast. Pandemic protocols are also really appreciated - there's a tiny vestibule where you can drop off and pick up your dog, so there is no in-person contact.
