Really enjoy farmers markets that aim to stay open year around, where feasible. I always find great produce and home goods here. Even some helpful tips or recipes from vendors!

This market is great. Dropping off compost for $3 is better than any pickup service. The staff is always great, and the vendors offer a wide variety - fruits, veggies, meat, baked goods, honey, salsa, and ready to eat food. All year round and a great selection

The indoor GCM is like a ray of produce filled sunshine in the dark doldrums of the enduring Chicago winter.

I LOVE farmers markets! I get so sad in the winter because they're less abundant in the city. Thankfully, Green City Market has an indoor location. There are 25+ vendors and I get my local food fix. Also, I love that all their vendors are third-party certified, so I know that the food I'm eating is sustainable.

I am so thankful for the indoor market. I rely on the market for local, fresh and organic ingredients through the colder months. It is also nice to have somewhere to escape in the winter. The Nature Museum is bright, airy and full of energy and gives you a nice escape in the winter. I look forward to the market not just for product but also to grab some brunch on the weekends and for a winter escape!

This indoor market means that having fresh produce, eggs, bread and other products doesn't end with the summer. I get to know the farmers and other vendors who provide some of the best local and sustainable food. These relationships build a sense of trust about the quality of their products. The market staff and volunteers make the indoor market a great shopping experience. They even provide programs for children.

The indoor farmer's market in the Nature museum - you'll be amazed at the number of farm fresh items you can still get in the winter. At minimum, do yourself a favor and switch out your store bought garlic bulbs for a local farm's instead!
