Great little pharmacy. Friendly staff. Free delivery. Friends have complained about mistakes at the nearby Walgreens, but I've used Katsaros for years and never experienced or heard of any mistakes. What's not to love?

I had a very negative experience here lately. The pharmacist Joe was extremely rude to me and accused me of intentionally damaging a product I bought to get a return. I only realized it was damaged AFTER I bought it and opened it but he accused me of intentionally damaging the item and bringing it back to the store to get a refund. He made sure that I knew he thinks I'm trying to get one over on him and made me feel like a con artist. There was no customer service, no apology, and no care at all of me being a long-time customer. The plus sized woman at the register was just as nasty and rude as him as well... Their motto on the website says: "Our goal is to provide the personal service and high level of care that is necessary. Our experienced staff makes each and every visit as pleasant and personable as can be, a quality you wont find at other pharmacies! " My experience was not high level and neither pleasant nor personable. I wanted to complain to his boss but unfortunately, he is the owner and bought the pharmacy some years back from Katsaros. God has a way of righting all wrongs

This pharmacy is amazing! Everyone who works there is so kind and helpful, and it feels like they personally care about the people they are serving. I'm always able to get in and out quickly with what I need, and have not had any issues with medications I need being out-of-stock since I switched from CVS to Katsaros. I strongly recommend to anyone!

Come here if you want very quick and friendly service. It's a good feeling when the pharmacy staff remembers your name... You definitely won't experience that at the big chain pharmacies!

We have used every major pharmacy in our area. All have made mistakes, some of which could have been dangerous. Katsaros has NEVER made a mistake. They also can tell you if you have a drug interaction problem BEFORE they fill a new one. They are personable, know all their customers by name and sincerely care about you. We will wait until they open to fill and refill prescriptions instead of going elsewhere. Cannot say enough great things about about them. Whatever is supposed to be right about a pharmacy you will find here!

So disappointing! I made an appointment for the vaccine, and when I got there, they refused me because I do not have insurance. The information that they do not take uninsured patients should have been made clear in the online registration.

Joe is the greatest Pharmacist in modern times! He is like the pharmacist of the past where he gets to know you and your family personally. He has helped me and my family for over a decade now. If you want a pharmacist that actually cares about you come here! Insurances this day and age are all awful and have a special place in Hades waiting for them since they treat people so poorly. Joe makes life much easier compared to CVS, Walgreens, and any other brand name places that have a pharmacy. If you're in Hyde Park, no scratch that if you're anywhere near the Hyde Park neighborhood go to Katsaros! You also help small business when you go there!
