This is somehow the only Gap in the city and I wish there were more! The store is always clean and they have great deals. The workers are helpful and I always love an excuse to bop around Southport.

Typically, my children and I have a good experience at this particular store. Sadly, today was a much different experience. My 10-year old daughter was searching for holiday pajamas and we were approached by a sales associate by the name of Caitlin. She wasn’t in the least bit kind or helpful. In fact, she was awkward and suspicious of us. We were one of three families in the same general vicinity of the store and we were the only ones approached. She said loudly, “HELLO? HELLLLO?” I didn’t realize she was speaking to us until she increased her volume. She asked in a loud and over annunciated voice “ARE YOU LOOKING FOR SOMETHING?!” “DO YOU NEED HELP WITH PAJAMAS? ARE YOU WANTING PAJAMAS?!!!” When I nodded my head and answered no in disbelief at how she was speaking to us she turned away and whispered under her breath, “No need to be so suspicious. ? “ I’m not sure if it was some sort of racial or social profiling, but whatever it was it didn’t feel good and it left my ten and thirteen year olds embarrassed and scratching their heads. Caitlin - If you’re reading this, I will be reporting your behavior and this demeaning interaction to management and corporate.

Great customer service after I had an online order mishap. The manager is friendly, accommodating and wonderful — along with the staff member who helped me return two items.The store itself is definitely not a mall Gap, it has two floors. The first floor has a decent men’s and women’s selection, and the second floor is for Gap Kid and Gap Baby, along with clearance items.

A little messy store, probably because the place is smaller than others stores i was going to, but the have great clothes as usual.I almost let the store empty hands, because one of the associates, said a par of pants where no available in skinny and she was totally false.Another lady in the check out line help me and she find out there was plenty....Besides that great experience.As always

Kaitlyn upstairs in Clearance, Brenda downstairs on the main floor. Same store, two very different experiences, both fantastic. It's a gift to be able to connect, and both made me feel equally at home. Willing to chat but willing to listen. I couldn't tell you when was the last time I've been to a Gap but I remember feeling this satisfyied as a customer then too. Must be a Gap thing. What I do know is I will travel here just to keep giving these guys at Gap my businessHighly recommend

Been in several times over the years since they opened. Yesterday was awesome. Tito helped me and was amazing. I needed jeans. I was picky and didn't know what I wanted. If that makes sense. Not tooo low. Not too high. Dark wash. Wide leg. Maybe flare. Not skinny. Maybe skinny. You get the picture. He helped me pick out 3 pairs to try and one of them was a winner. He truly listened and figured out what I wanted. Thanks Tito

I attempted to return a dress, the woman working insisted I wore it (when I indeed did not), very frustrating to have my character questioned when trying to make a return. Will not be going back.

Bought some pants that didnt look good after trying them on at home so put them in a bag to return. Tried to return and were refused because the worker claimed they looked worn? Yeah, for 10 seconds, sure. Beware.
