Just had an very unpleasant experience at this GameStop ??? this location list a opened game as “brand new” and was told I would have to go to another store to see if they would be willing to trade for a unopened copy. the staff is completely rude. I came inside and greeted them and got cold stares in return. Their behavior is unacceptable. ??♂️ Absolutely awful. Think I am lying? Just look at the other reviews. If the employees are paranoid about people stealing maybe this location just needs to hire security guards or police officers. But them treating shoppers like criminals kills the customer service experience

They was okay I guess at best when I used to shop there back in the day (an extremely long time ago).I can't vouch for shopping there nowadays.I am hearing a lot of shady things about them nowadays online especially.

This gamestop is honestly one of the worst I’ve been at.. I’m currently in the area at 1:30pm in the day… theres a paper sign in the window saying “be right back” and theres just a guy standing inside. I wouldn’t complain if it hadn’t already been 15 minutes of me looping the block just for it to still not be open but a guy standing there trying to waive to me to come back later.

Please owners, your location is inconvenient so to get off the train, walk over and not have open doors is frustrating

They’re just randomly not open til 1:30pm today. Online it says they open at 10:00am. 3 and a half hour late open? Handwritten note in chicken scratch, no note online. Unprofessional.

Store hours posted opening at 11:00. Go there at 11:30, and gates are down and door is locked. Consistently open late/leave early, then some of the staff is outright rude.

Tried to do a trade-in before 7pm. I even tried calling into the store before 7pm to make sure they still did cash trade ins. No answer on the phone on the way in and the employee refused to do the trade in, help me or acknowledge that they would not answer the phone repeatedly while I was en route to the store before 7pm. Very displeased with their service and would go as far as to say this store NEEDS review. The location was 3951 N Broadway, Chicago, IL 60613.

Worst in Chicago, close this MF. They never there you get there around 2 they tell you to leave. Y'all got one job, games and you bad at that CLOSE IT! if customers got to do everything online why are they here.

This location is always closed. It's never open the security gates are always down. Walked by several times before and after my lunch and the store is closed with a bunch of kids hanging out in the front. Going to Best Buy or Amazon.
