My visits to francesca's have been disappointing due to consistently rude staff. The staff rarely greet customers with a smile or show basic courtesy. I hope the management addresses these issues promptly to create a more welcoming environment.

Went to this location to return an online order, and the customer service was horrible. The experience doesn't deserve 1 star; it would be zero. I head up to the counter, and the two employees behind the counter kept talking to one another while ignoring me. When they finally stopped, they just glared at me. Didn't say anything, no greet or ask what I needed. So I simply said I wanted to return something, and one employee left while the other remained and sulked as if I got on her nerves and that she wasn't on her shift. The whole time she was processing the return, she made it obvious she was annoyed. It was degrading. I don't expect store employees to treat customers like royalty, but yeah, I barely even got basic respect as a human being. This happened hours before they're closing, and there were other customers in the store, who are occupied with themselves. Still don't understand why the employees felt my presence was an annoyance-- maybe they're only thrilled to help certain customers and could care less about others. I would advise to stay away from this location unless you want the employees to be rude and to abuse you simply for expecting them to do their job like helping you with a return.

I agree with the other one star reviews. The customer service at this location is not great. I came in here with a friend and we stayed for a while looking through earrings and dresses. There was one girl working and there was also no greeting from her even though we were the only two customers in the store. I picked an item from the clearance. When we checked out, the girl seemed annoyed - she didn’t ask for my reward number and she charged me a bag fee even though I didn’t use one (I didn’t look at my receipt until I got home). She acted like she couldn’t leave work because we were still here. We also noticed that they closed the store door an hour before the store hour to pretend they are closed so people won’t come in.

This was literally the worst shopping experience I have ever experienced at a Francesca’s location. My daughters and I walked in at 7:40 pm, and were not greeted with “Hello”, we were greeted with “We close in 20 minutes.” Um, ok, so we have 20 minutes to shop, right? My daughter picked out two dresses and 1 skirt to try on and went to the dressing rooms. No one else was in the store. My daughter went into the open dressing room when Kaitlyn called out from the desk (because she did not once leave the desk to help us in anyway), and said the dressing rooms were closed. Again, no one else was in the store and all 3 dressing rooms were open. I asked “why” and she flippantly stated because the store was closing in 15 minutes and they were “understaffed”. Isn’t she getting paid to work until the store closes? When I asked that question she said “Well, I guess she can try it on if it’s just one dress”, so of course there was no store policy that the dressing rooms were closed, she just made that up. At this point, my daughters and I were upset and didn’t even want to give her a sale. I want you to know that Kaitlyn turns away customers while you are paying for her to be there. I will never shop at this location again. It looks like it should close soon anyway since no one is ever in the store anyway, probably due to the poor customer service.

I came here at 5:45 and the door was locked. They came to the door and told me they close at 6. I stood there expecting her to let me in but she just stared at me. I said "um ok" and she closed and locked the door again. That was weird. Staff doesn't care about making sales. They just want to go home.

PERMANENTLY CLOSED. That's all I have to say, though Yelp is requiring me to write more so they can post this review. I reported the business closed a couple weeks ago but they did not make this change yet, they closed after New Year. Is this enough words now? Let's try submitting!

Fine Italian dining. We chose for my birthday while staying on the north side and it was the perfect place. Cozy, fine service.

I hadn't been back since last summer and my recent experience was lackluster. I order the Carpaccio to start and while it wasn't the best one I have had...it was the best item of the evening, besides my companion's Agnolotti which was cheesy, scrumptious and decadent. My entree was the Halibut with Sea Scallops. Unfortunately, both the fish and the scallops were overcooked. The scallops were also the smallest sea scallops I have ever seen... hmm... perhaps they were bay scallops instead. I usually don't order dessert but I decided too this evening. I had the Peach Crostata with Ricotta Cheese and it was bland and disappointing. The peaches were grilled and slightly hard and not ripe enough, so they were lacking in flavor. They were diced and off to the side. Not sliced and inside or on top of the crostata. This was a huge fail.My other disappointing experience was on previous occasion, last year pre pandemic when I ordered their Pasta Bolognese. They had changed the presentation slightly, however it unfortunately had a major negative impact on the pasta. Instead of having a mirepoix in the sauce there were large chunks of carrots, onion and celery. I used to believe that it would be difficult to screw up a Bolognese sauce, but yet something so simple managed to do that...When I mentioned it the next time I came in the waiter told me that they were going for an Italian grandmother's style of Bolognese, so I chose to order something else that evening. Somewhere in Chicago an Italian grandmother is rollingg in their grave. For me this was never an "authentic" Italian restaurant, but it straddled Italian authenticity with an Italian American perspective. While it was once a go to for me in the neighborhood, sadly it is no longer. Hopefully they can turn this around... but only time will tell.

The menu is more limited than before COVID-19, but the quality is just as good. The fish was first rate on a Sunday recently. Salad was large and well prepared, ingredients fresh and well seasoned. Waiter attentive and knowledgeable. A little confusion on affogato at the end as it is not on the menu but they have the ingredients and need some practice at getting it right.Overall a pleasant outdoor dining experience.

Solid, intimate, neighborhood Italian restaurant. White-paper-topped tables, candle, carafes of wine, large windows looking out onto Brwn Mawr. Adorable little bar top with limited seating, and open kitchen let's you peek into the behind-the-scenes.Bruschette Alla Sorella was okay, heavy on the radicchio. Rigatoni Del Pastore was great, flavorful without being spicy. Gnocchi Con Pesto was fairly bland, not very pesto-powered. Tiramisu had all the right flavors even with the dreaded thin layer of chocolate syrup on top. Oh, and the printed menu they have, the font is terrible and difficult to read. Minor gripe, but worth noting.

It was a great & filling 3-course meal. We went for the restaurant week deal of $39 each. We shared everything with the appetizers being or favorite. The flavors were light but addictive. Any dish with fresh cheese is *chefs kiss.* The main course was flavorful but not a huge fan of cod. The shrimps layered on top was more flavorful than main fish. The sauce of the noodle dish was divine. The dessert was a nice way to end with both of us only semi enjoying the cannoli's & devouring the cup dessert. I feel like cannolis are a let down dessert because its always a little dry. The cup dish was a mix of pastry creme, brown sugar crumble, & berries for an added fresh/fruity flavor.
