I have been going here more than 10 years and they have expanded their selection a lot. Lately the EBT has been "down" as well as random credit card transactions declined. I guess it's a terminal issue but I wish it was fixed since it's the only place open late now. I haven't had any issues with the staff, they always seem accommodating.

Nice place, and for certain things the prices are decent. I’ve been there before and will be back again.But be aware (I didn’t notice until I was home) that they mark some of the ice cream 5.99 but charge 7.99. Probably a mistake. Just noticed the 7.99 on my receipt … I should get a 2 dollar credit lol

I noticed the new flowers outside (beautiful!) and found out we have new owners in our community. Welcome! I have been coming to Foodsmart and the laundromat for over 10 years. I have grown familiar and friendly with the wonderful people who work there and hope that no changes will be made regarding the amazing Foodsmart staff the community knows and loves. The store would not be the same without them.

Washing here overnight impossible from now on since they got new owners and cut pay on their employees they don’t care anymore is open 24 hours still but no change or quarters in any of 3 change machines horrible not available.

If I could give zero stars I would the guy who runs this place who wears leather vest in the summer time with the long hair is an rude mean little man I came here to get my ups package and you would think I owed him money. Just mean and nasty. You need to pick a different profession to be in if you’re going to be rude to people.

terrible UPS experience. Man on the phone wouldn't listen to me when I asked to check for my package, instead told me I should come in and check myself. So much for customer service.

Really like this place supplying the community and being super convenient with good selection HOWEVER they have to know that their produce (mostly anything wrapped in cling wrap) smells and tastes like straight soap or something. I have gotten multiple pieces of fruit/veg in the wrapping assuming maybe it was a fluke but I literally just ruined a meal from cooking a bell pepper from the packaging (washed and sautéed and everything). I just don’t want anyone else to have to waste food. Not sure whats happening but hope its fixed.

One of the best grocery stores I have been in. Incredible amount of options for produce, meats, dairy, liquor, etc for such a small store. Very clean and open 24 hours, incredible!

On top of receiving a 7% Upside cash back offer on grocery purchases, I visited Foodsmart Urban Market as part of Upside 'Make March a win' which required 3 grocery transactions to get a $15 bonus added to my account balance. Foodsmart Urban Market was one of the grocery stores part of the process and nearest to my neighborhood. In spite of the parking being shared at Foodsmart Urban Market, I had no issues whatsoever finding a spot to park my vehicle. I have to admit, I was not expecting to encounter such a lit-up exterior nor one with parking space. The atmosphere was very relaxed at this market which gives off a neighborhood corner store vibe. Other than the prices being priced higher, it was a huge break shopping here versus somewhere like a Jewel-Osco, Pete's Fresh Market or a Mariano's. I must share that along with the items shelved being organized, the market was very clean, yet the aisles had tight maneuvering space in-between. While shopping, I took a liking to the variety of the vegan-friendly plant-based items like Beyond Sausage, Upton's Naturals, and even Amy's! And oh my God, it was over once I encountered pints of Ben & Jerry's ice cream flavors (cannoli, and oatmeal dream pie) which I had never encountered before. My interaction with the clerk behind the register was nothing short of professional. As my items were being scanned, I enjoyed the friendly interaction with one of the other clerks about cannoli, and the Ben & Jerry's - cannoli flavor which stemmed from my questioning about the Ben & Jerry's - oatmeal dream pie flavor purchased. I enjoyed shopping at Foodsmart Urban Market, but I just cannot see myself shopping here regularly due to it being out of my way. A return for me depends on whatever offer Upside puts out involving grocery purchases. ~Have courage. Be Kind. ~ Thomas G
