10/10 Customer Service 10/10 Quality ProductsI had to buy fabric to recreate a cape and the only thing I knew when I walked through the door was what color I wanted. They helped me figure out how much material I need, helped me find the right lining and even placed an order on the spot to make sure I would have enough fabric. I went in with absolutely no clue and both Johnny and Olivia were so very helpful!

This is the best fabric store. I have shopped fabrics in New York and Europe. I always find interesting and unique fabrics at Fishman's Fabrics. The owner and sales people have the ability to get fabrics from overseas in a couple of days when needed. All of the people who work there are talented and knowledgeable.I have been shopping here since the 80's. It has always been top for quality, service and selection.

Update your hours on Yelp. This place closes at 3 on weekdays and isn't open at all on the weekend. Since it showed that the hours had been updated in the last three months, I figured they were accurate. But I've spent an hour driving for no reason.

Wonderful shopping experience today thanks to the assistance of Steven P. He greeted me shortly after entering the store. I was shopping for an upholstery fabric to recover several items. Steven was knowledgeable and patient . He questioned the amount the upholstery shop had suggested for the project (not enough); thanks to his help, a call to the upholsterer necessitated increasing the needed yardage. Fishman's Fabrics has been my go-to place over the years for upholstery fabric of quality and choice. I continue to give Fishman's high recommendations.

When I Lived in Chicago, my favorite Fabric Store was Fishman's FabricsI now live in Colorado, and I can't find a decent Fabric store, when I do travel back to Chicago this is were I'm at Fishman's Fabric ?

So much variety. Everything from luxurious garment fabric to an array of cottons, and fabric for the home. I picked up some unusual vinyl that was stunning.

How anyone who works can go to your store? I work from Monday through Friday until 3PM, your store only opens from Monday through Friday until 3PM and you don’t open on the weekends! That’s is very unfortunate and I’m 100% sure you are losing lots of potential costumers with this limited business hours.

It's the only place I buy fabric! I recently reupholstered chairs and had a game table refinished, so of course, I went back to Fishman's. The quality of fabric and the knowledgeable and professional service is second to none!
