I came here on a Monday at 9am, I had a great experience here opening a new checking account. Yvette helped me with any questions I had, she was very helpful, kind and patient. The atmosphere was calm, and the bank was clean. Better than the Chase down the road.

This morning I went to the bank at 4017 w Lawrence ave 60630 Albany Park location to deposit a check but I had to do another procedure at the bank, the Teller could not help me with that procedure, since they are supposed to be qualified for all cases, he was not I stopped for not even 3 minutes when a very aggressive and rude lady came in who said she was the manager of that place, so I started to explain the situation to her and she didn't even let me finish talking when she asked me for a frankly absurd document, so I presented her legal documentation, however, the only thing I received from that woman, a certain Grisel, I imagine it was Griselda because she was Hispanic, made me angry, yelling at me in front of all the cashiers and other costumers, rudely asking me to get out of there because I didn't have time to listen to me or attend to me, I asked him to give me his name to which he replied yelling at me that he didn't feel like giving me his name just like that in that usual abusive and offensive way, so as not to continue listening to his rudeness I left. another location where they could help me without any problem. Now I am seriously thinking about closing my accounts because I have tried to complain to this person and simply no one pays attention to me. I have the impression that this bank does not work for the Community, only for its own interests and I have been with this bank for many years with total indignation and I am going to proceed to look for another banking institution with more educated, serious and professional employees.

Arrived to the bank 5:28pm and when I went to pull on the door it was already locked even though they close at 5:30. I went up to the window at the drive through and they just ignored me. I told them it was not even 5:30 yet and that what they were doing was wrong. I used to work at 53 myself and I we always had the doors open till the last minute. I told them this and all they did was shut the blinds on my face. Terrible service and lack of respect. No wonder so many employees including myself quit.

I went to 53rd in Lawrence/pulaski to get a temporary card cashier told me to wait in the lobby I sat down for 45 min the lady she is a banker come and tell me she doesn't have time now go to an other 53rd she sat down talking on the phone I waited patiently ask her if I wait for 10 more min will she take me she is very rude she said I get to choices either go to an other branch or come back an other day I feel so disappointed I was in MB and switched to 53rd for more than 10 years no respect, no customer service I always felt frustration I always let it go but today 12/4/22 so disrespectful, loyalty

Margarita, one of the tellers, was condescending and rude instead of trying to find a simple solution to my issue. She even said my bank account balance out loud with customers right next to me. I was very uncomfortable and did not like how she was talking to me. She was unapologetic and I have never experienced this and I've been with Fifth third since 2014!

Since I opened my account with 53 account I always go to this branch to cash my work checks never a problem I went in today and the teller tells me I can only deposit my check I cant cash it the teller was very rude and unprofessional when I asked why. I kinda of think I was being profiled by the teller not sure if I’ll continue business with 53

After a couple of experiences, I am frustrated. I went in to discuss a loan a couple weeks ago. I was told to wait, but after 20 minutes of no one talking to me or assuring me on a timeframe, I left figuring they were too busy that day. I came back another day and was able to talk with a banking rep who said he would need manager assistance as the loan was more complicated, but she would call asap. Five days later, no call. When I try to call the bank to talk to anyone, every single time, the line hangs up on me. I shouldn't have to go again in person just to talk with someone about this when they have all the info.So I give up. There are other Fifth Thirds with better customer service.

To Whom It May Concern,The issues i had with the branch manager Gricel Benavides and its all been a misunderstanding and i will be very happy to use this branch as my main bank and look forward to doing more business with fifth third and i hope to grow my business with them and look forward to more positive experiences.

We have encountered the Manager of this Branch which is Gricel Benavides who is not very nice and nor customer friendly. We are asking question that we don’t know and she answered very disrespectful manner.
