Had a tournament here, and the place is beautiful! It’s located in a good area right next to the Blackhawks actual arena the united center, and the place is awesome! Staff are nice! Overall this place is amazing!

Facility is nicest in the Chicago area, but the security is a pain. They have no respect for customers. Security makes customers move around them while you are caring bags through doors and driving through the lot while they sit in the center of the drive. I have seen cars park in the lot and the person walks across the street to apartment, but security did nothing and did not tow.
And now no outside food. So I can’t bring my kids team cupcakes for kids birthday? Really.
Other staff make it feel it is an inconvenience while using ‘their’ facility. Family uses the rinks for many different items weekly, youth and adult hockey, private events and open skates. Loses the community feel when you get searched at the door. Facility needs a better approach to security and front desk staff. Getting told to not bring in a multitool (because it includes a small knife) is a joke, need for equipment maintenance.
Much work needed to make this a community.

Learn to Skate Hockey is awesome! The front staff is amazingly filled with kindness, professionalism, friendliness, and the warmth of home. McKenna remember my sons skate sizes, which makes my little guys feel valued before they even hit the ice!
The skate coaches give an incredible about of patience, encouragement, skill, and knowledge to the children learning to skate for hockey. It’s all my little guys talk about during the week. My 6 y/o asked if I would cheer for him when he becomes a professional hockey player with the Blackhawks. This came from a child who was heartbroken that he fell “59 thousand times” during his first 4 weeks. He was using the red skate helper, until s coach convinced him that he could glide better without it. Hence, he believed in himself…and walked on ice, unassisted…until he began to glide. Yes son, I am and will always be, your biggest fan. ~ Love, Mom

I’ve skated in a lot of ice skating rinks, and this is the best one to skate on for the public in Chicago. Front desk staff and even security are so kind and helpful. I’ll be visiting more often! :)

So. I walked into the arena yesterday and they let me bring my food in. Today they literally made me throw my food away even tho it was just a sandwich. The security told me to call my mom, I’m literally 19. They also said I could stand in the rain and eat the food and they’d watch me finish it to make sure I wouldn’t bring it in. So sad. Lost $20.

Attended the blind hockey event and everything was set up very nice. Staff was friendly and accommodating.
