Pharmacy is really poorly run. You need to double check what they tell you because multiple times I have been given wrong information about the status of my prescription and how much I owe. Feels like it's run by interns/trainees.

This is for the Walgreens at 1650 W. Chicago Ave. The pharmacy there is a joke. Everyone do yourselves a favor and switch pharmacies to anywhere but there. It doesn't matter that you call and tell them your coming for your meds that day they will put your meds back and or not have them all ready , you might get one med if you have about 3 or four to pickup.

I didn't listen to the negative reviews and I should have. Got an email that my electronically submitted prescription was ready but had an insurance issue. Tried to call, no one answered. Went in the next day to pick up with my prescription card in hand, they had no evidence of ever receiving my script, 2 techs looked and found nothing and said to call my doctor...where did the email come from?? I showed them the email and they just shrugged. I understand mistakes happen, but they should problem solve. This is not how you treat a patient.

The worst Walgreens I've ever been to. Long lines, no one answers the phone if you need to talk to a pharmacist, etc.

Where to begin? I've been coming here for years. The lines have always been insane. I would say 90% of people who walk up have an issue. Insurance isn't working. They can't find the prescription. Etc. Etc. Etc. This time it was crazier than usual. I wasn't using insurance so I called the pharmacy to let them know so that these prescription would not be held up. I was on hold for so long (50 mins) I was able to ride my bike there while on hold. When I walked up to the window, still on hold, and let them know I would not be using insurance, the technician person said they could now move my order along. I said, "Yeah, I've been on hold with you for 50 minutes trying to do that." He sort of shrugged and said something I couldn't make out. I then said, "I guess I can hang up now." So I did. Anyway, I was told I could wait 30 to 40 minutes or come back in 2 hours. I chose to come back in 2 hours. Big mistake. I'm now stuck in a huge line that will turn this process into a 3 hour process. When I got to the window I was told it still was not ready and to come back tomorrow. There's a guy next to me and he's insisting on talking to a district manger or to get contact info because he's having some king of issue that's been going on for three days. Staff is being difficult about it. This place is insane. This is officially my last trip to this pharmacy. I wrote this entire review without even moving.

I would give negative stars if I could. The absolute worst Walgreens I have ever been to in my life. Horribly rude and unhelpful pharmacists. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS.

Wow. I spent almost an hour on hold waiting for the pharmacy. Finally hung up and called for management to see if pharmacy was closed. Manager said "ya one sec", put me on hold and never came back. My call was eventually just dropped. I was going to start using them as a pharmacy but they are wildly unprofessional.

I've only had negative experiences here and will be finding another location to pick up my prescriptions, even though it's further away. They closed the pharmacy at 5 today even though their posted hours for a Friday are from 9-9. When I asked why, they said they close early for the weekend. If that's the case, please update your hours.

The worst pharmacy. They are constantly understaffed, we had a medical emergency and had a dr call in a prescription at 8am. When we didn't hear from the pharmacy at noon, they told us they were "too busy to check called in prescriptions today"

This place was awesome. It was just like your typical Walgreens, but it was located in a very cool, old building that used to be a bank. There was even a cool "vitamin vault."I've been buying the toothpaste, razors and shaving products in Walgreens . It's always fast and easy to find this things here.This Walgreen's location was able to transfer and fill everything for me no issues same day, but with enough time allowed for the staff to do a full and thorough job. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I hope everyone is more appreciative and calm with them because they have had to deal with some difficult customer behavior. It is standard to have to wait for your prescriptions to be ready. Their service is GREAT.Always a good experience and fast service. It's really one of the best Walgreens I've ever visited.
