Employees are rude don't blame them but the owner. They don't cut the meat correctly and DO NOT clean if you want clean cut meat do not go here.

Stop going to this place . It not clean the waiting area is way small so don’t be surprise you you catch flu standing too close to someone sick , besides it’s pretty dirty place ..Buchers expect tip every time . They will pass you for someone who tips well. Is owner not paying them enough? Who designed this kinda system? And why any one has to tip for meats that are expansive to begin with?
Just find another place that is much better , cleaner option.

I've been to this meat store multiple times, and every visit has been a disappointment. They have a token system in place, but it's completely useless as they call out numbers randomly. On multiple occasions, I asked the butcher to cut my meat into eight bags, but he only did four each time. I initially thought it was a mistake, but this has happened three or four times now. The customer service is inconsistent; I never know what kind of experience I'll have. Despite clearly stating my needs, the butcher consistently fails to follow instructions and still expects a tip.

He doesn't respect anyone. More than once I see he exploits the Mexican workers who work for him, does not respect them, and shouts at them in front of people, despite his concern that they work illegally. He doesn't care, he made a lot of money

We recently bought several beef ribs at this market. But when we prepared them, we were so disappointed with the quality of the meat. It wasn’t fresh and had such weird taste that it wasn’t edible. In the future, please keep your meat frozen and sell only fresh meat to your customers!

Double check the meat you buy here- they tend to replace what you have originally bought with stale meat or discarded parts of meat. Workers are rude, condescending and will openly mock you if you are buying half a pound of meat.

This is hidden gem in chicago.. all go there. The reasons that may some customers put bad review is they are ignorant and ask nonsense question in place so packed. And has no time for silly question. Like how much is my meat before even you order .. like i want goat. Ok what goat.. baby, medium, mutton.. what.. come and order tell what you want not to ask how much is my meat in phone
