I think the friendly, outgoing chocolate hostess is no longer employed at this location. Whoever it is now is intimidating and never smiles. I visit this store because See’s is too far away, but when I do visit, it’s quick. Thank goodness the chocolates are good, but I may have to make the drive for friendlier service.

Jeanette is an elderly lady who waited on me for my indulgent purchase of chocolatey goodness. She is so joy filled and special it brought me to tears. What a treat of a human to complete a transaction of confectionary treats. She should be everyone's new, honorary grandma. Absolute adore her approach to life and customers. Respectful, cheerful, matter of fact and she effused a sense of handling the task with grace and genuinely sincere caring. No one near Midway Airport should miss a chance to see her and take their loved ones home a Fannie May surprise with a Hallmark Quality life meeting story with them.
