He pulled up a document to show me the risks, then presented me with several options.Giving me that autonomy was so indicative of who Doctor Salcedo is.This educated, patient-centered man never dismisses my concerns and takes me seriously. Women know that it can be hard to find a doctor who doesn't dismiss pain, fatigue, or mental health issues. He investes and empowers me with information and choices.His diligence and attention to detail has caught something important another doctor missed. He remembers things I say.The nurses and front desk staff are patient, empathetic, and professional. My documents are always handled with care, appointments always on time.I could shout my recommendations from the rooftop. Bless this man and this staff.”

“I was seen by Dr. Alex when I began experiencing abdominal pain, digestive issues, increased liver values and an auto-immune hepatitis + non-alcoholic fatty liver diagnosis. Because I weighed 130 lbs. @ 5’1 at the time, the diagnosis was shocking.Dr. Alex recommended vitamins for my specific needs in addition to a daily nutrition protocol to follow. “I came across Dr. Edward Wang searching for an USCIS approved doctor around my neighborhood so I could get my medical exam for the Immigration office. Dr. Wang is a wonderful doctor, very professional, responsible and genuinely kind with his patients. I highly recommend him to anyone!! Also, the entire stuff was very friendly and professional. “My experience at the Advocate Medical Group Immediate Care Sykes site was pleasant and efficient. After checking in and stating the reason for my visit I was seated in the waiting area less than 10 minutes. The nurse informed me that I should have x-rays first then I would be seen by the urgent care doctor. Doctor Desarey Sims reviewed the reason for my visit which was injury to my thumb due to a fall. Dr. Sims was through and caring of my injury advised what to do including follow-up with my primary care doctor and and orthopedic doctor as well. My overall experience was very good.”

“Awesome experience from start to finish. Was going to walk in and when I called there was a 6pm appt available so I took it. I was able to sit in my car until I was called in and was able to go directly to the office. Jenice (sp) was wonderful and made me feel so comfortable. She also gave me a tip that I'd never been given regarding antibiotics and how to prevent yeast infections after taking them AND I DIDN'T EVEN ASK! You could tell that she genuinely cared. I am thrilled about this visit. If I ever have a need for urgent care, I'll be back and I home Jenice is stil there.”
