If there were negative 5 star reviews I would have selected it. I have NEVER been more upset with a rental car agency in my life. The Miami and Ft Lauderdale Airport Enterprise locations were both unresponsive to our immediate needs to make our flight when the car given to us was an unsafe vehicle and broke down on the highway blocking traffic, with a potentially known faulty transmission. Additionally, it is now 4-16-24 and NO ONE has gotten back to us to apologize, refund us for our terrible experience, or give us a compensated car rental for our troubles and many years of loyalty to this company. We were stranded on the highway on 3/27 and they told us to call highway patrol because it would take them over 2 hours to help us. Highway patrol said they could not tow the vehicle and told us to call them and have their Miami staff sit with the vehicle. When they were unresponsive highway patrol waited with the car until they drove the 2 miles to get their car so we could make our flight. I talked with 9 different departments and individuals over the past 3 weeks and no one has gotten back to me even though they claim they will within 2-3 business days. The only communication I have received back is a receipt of them charging my credit card on 3/29. We used the car for a total of 1.5 hours from Ft. Lauderdale airport to our Miami hotel and to the Miami airport. I have called and left messages that were recorded to MANY people. They were unable to connect me to Ft. Lauderdale Airport's Enterprise personnel nor Miami even though I have ALWAYS been able to speak to a live person immediately at every other Enterprise I have ever rented from as a loyal customer throughout the Midwest and East coast airports. I am beyond dissatisfied and have canceled payment for this experience. I should sue Enterprise for knowingly giving us a car that had a faulty transmission. DO NOT rent from the Miami or Ft. Lauderdale airports. If you have any problems they will not give you any assistance. They will also not honor what you pay for in terms of car types. I paid for a luxury vehicle and was given a standard SUV. Erika Burton

I will only rent from Enterprise, and my experience here reflects why. Upon landing I walked up to the rental station and was greeted immediately and given my choice of vehicle. I was out of there in less than 10 minutes. When I returned my vehicle, I was again greeted immediately and given instructions to leave my trash in the car. I was emailed a receipt and sent on my way. There was no line at all, no trouble finding my reservation, no up-charging. Everything was supremely easy and I wouldn't hesitate to rent from this location again in the future.

I was helped by one of the managers on my return Ivan and there was some complications with the car and he was able to help me out. His customer service was excellent. His patience was excellent. His understanding was excellent. I do appreciate the time he took to figure out the problem with me and to help me I definitely would recommend this location

The local miami offices are terrible. For a company that uses the slogan "we'll pick you up" that NEVER has that service available. I have tried to use Enterprise several times and it's ALWAYS the same story .... THEY CANNOT OFFER THAT SERVICE AT THIS TIME .... ALWAYS !!! it's pretty ridiculous. In theory, their higher cost reflects the convenience of their service. If they constantly fail at their promise, there are better priced options (and since you have to find your own transport anyways, it's better to choose a better priced alternative). "we'll pick you up" is just a form of bait .... the service at the locations isn't much better.

This is the second time I will visit an enterprise location and my item will get lost and the people there will tell me they can’t find it only for me to receive a call later that they have my possession and I should come and claim it.I can here on January 14th 2024 and even though the guys at the counter didn’t get me a car cos I only had a paper copy of my license, I went out realizing that I can’t find my handbag. It was cold and I was carrying a lot of bags, I asked these guys and they told me that I didn’t leave anything there, they didn’t even make an attempt to search thoroughly. They made me doubt myself, now fast forward to last week, only for me to receive a call from them that they have my bag and I should come and claim it before a certain day. I do not love in around the airport, I have to pay for it to be sent to me. Although I haven’t gotten the bag yet as I type this but this seriously something you guys should stop doing. I am going to go to the other enterprise location and leave a review too because I am really pissed. I went through so much distress looking for that bag because it contains all my id and my cards. It takes nothing for them to have searched the premises thoroughly, but the didn’t and they just gaslighted me and made me think I didn’t know what I was talking about.

I rented a car at the Chicago O’Hare airport last Feb 12 for 5 days. I rented a large (Malibu or similar) and when I arrived they said that they didn’t have a large size and they down grade me to a Nissan Sentra that was SO uncomfortable.They sudgested an “upgrade” for an extra charge when it was not my fault. This reservation I made with 4 months in advanced.

Horrible experience after a long flight and a stressful experience trying to get to the location was treated like absolute garbage by the staff there. I understand your policy that you cannot rent a vehicle without a return flight. If you are an out-of-state resident totally get it enterprise should not have let me get the rental or let me know that ahead of time I was totally in shock after returning from Florida where customer service is a priority instead was made fun of by staff and made to feel like a complete fool ! I wanted to cry, and they offered me no type of assistance at all just made me feel like something was wrong with me because I did not have a credit card.
