I came to East West Martial arts to buy escrima sticks for my son who practices and teaches martial arts. The website says you’re open. The sign on the door says, “we’re open, ring the bell”. I rang the bell and waited several minutes. I rang the bell again and wait a few more minutes. It’s -2 degrees outside. I will buy escrima sticks from someone who is truly open for business by having an open door.

Been going to Master Shin's East West Market Exchange ¥for more than 50 years. He is a great man and I enjoy speaking with him. His school has been around longer than I can remember. When I need training weapons, I can always find them there and for a good price. I highly recommend this business and Master Shin.

Currently it is 7/24/19 I placed an order for two books on 2/21/19 and have yet to receive them. I sent several messages on their contact us page and have heard nothing back. When I call It goes to voicemail and again no call backs. There is no reason that I should not have my order, or that I do not have a refund. I wish they would respond to my questions about my order.

I contacted East West Martial Arts Supply in February of 2018 and placed an order for an embroidered belt. I received the belt and not only was the embroidery incorrect but the belt smelled strongly of mildew. I was told by the proprietor that a new belt would be sent to me with the necessary corrections once they installed their new software on the computer used for controlling their embroidery machine. Clearly this was a stalling technique in that the replacement belt has never arrived. At this point my emails and phone calls are going unanswered. The current date is May 10th, 2018 and still not belt has been shipped. After doing research on this vendor, I have learned that others have had the similar experiences. Avoid the hassle of dealing with this disingenuous vendor and purchase from a company that will stand behind their product.

I contacted East West Martial Arts Supplies in February and placed an order for an embroidered belt. I received the belt and not only was the embroidery incorrect but the belt smelled strongly of mildew.I emailed pictures of the mistakes to the owner of the establishment so he could see the them. I was told on the phone by him that a new belt would be sent to me with the necessary corrections once they installed their new software on the computer used for controlling their embroidery machine. That was several months ago and I still waiting to receive the correct belt. At this point my emails and phone calls are going unanswered. I hope it is no too late to contact my credit card company and dispute the charge. I am very disappointed in my experience. Buyer beware!
