I've been storing my personal belongings at EBS Bridgeport for over a year. The staff is professional and courteous and always helpful. The front office staff could not be better. By far the best value for your storage dollar.

Terrible Choice. Wasted money. If you have a choice don’t store things here. They have very restrictive hours. They do not allow you access to a loading dock for anything heavy you must be prepared to lift it over 4 feet up onto a dock yourself. They have a dock but storage customers cannot use it. Only events. Because that’s all the art center cares about. You can’t even get in on Sunday afternoon because they close the offices. They cater and care more about the events that come through than any other business here. If you need to park, good luck. It’s probably all being blocked by a wedding. Need to get into your locker after 6pm? So out of luck. It’s cheaper and much more convenient, literally a block over at cube smart. They also have much nicer less condescending staff. The manager of this location is useless and fake. God forbid you have an issue with your card on file. They won’t try to call you, they won’t even mail you anything they just keep charging you $35 fees. Then when you need the overlock removed they sent a drunk janitor who reeks of booze to unlock things. Your staff shouldn’t smell of whiskey at 10am. Pick anywhere else to store things in Bridgeport but here.

The whole team is dedicated to making everything at the Bridgeport Art Center run smoothly. You couldn't ask for a team of nicer people, as dedicated to its tenants' and visitors' wellbeing. Nothing but praise!

I've had a storage unit here since 2009 and I'm very happy I found this place. I love it. The staff is wonderful and super helpful. It's clean and easy to access. And it's such a cool building. I highly recommend East Bank Bridgeport if you're looking for a storage facility.

I rented a unit from East Bank Storage and within one week I was retrieving my items from a dumpster. Certain employees were helpful along the way, but almost two months later, the administrators have not resolved the situation.When I went in to rent a unit from East Bank, I chose the first and only unit I was showed. The maintenance department let me know that they would clean/sanitize that unit so that I could put my items in it. About 4 days later I came in to put more items into storage but to my surprise my unit had a different lock on it. I let the people in the office know and the unit was unlocked for me but it was completely empty! Nobody in the office could explain why. Eventually someone told me that I had put my stuff in the wrong locker (the locker that was shown to me, cleaned for me, and unlocked for me). According to their records, they had me on file to be in a different locker than the one I was told was mine. All of my stuff was thrown into a dumpster or taken home by employees that same day.The dumpster was still on location so with the help of the maintenance team I retrieved what I could from the pile of garbage. They were very helpful and we salvaged most of my items. However they were damaged and dirty. Also, if I had not come that very day, all of my items would have likely already been in a landfill with no chance of finding them. I took everything that I could retrieve in my car to a UHaul storage unit.I was told that the management would "take care of me". I was offered storage credits which added up to about $100. My items were worth around $700-$1000. After weeks of going back and forth with the administration, my patience was exhausted and I accepted a $200 check on the phone with the Regional Director who refused to listen to my story, blamed me for the situation, and scolded me like I had done something wrong.On October 15th almost two months after the situation, I was emailed a bill for the storage unit I am no longer using. I understand that humans make errors but this string of mistakes is dreadful. Everyone I spoke with continually reminded me of East Bank's reputation for "great customer service" and "how they don't screw people over" as if their reputation would resolve everything. In my case, their reputation has proved false. If you are willing to risk your items for a few dollars, go ahead with East Bank. If not, pay a bit more and get the added security Uhaul and others provide.

I had furniture/objects/art/lamps, etc. stored here for almost 3 years. My stuff was in perfect shape when I finally departed from my exceptionally well kept storage unit. Alan who runs things in the main office is kind/helpful and resourceful. The building itself is a wonderment in the ever evolving Bridgeport neighborhood. So much to see in and out of this great art and event location. I would recommend East Bank storage to anyone that needs a trustworthy location to store their personal and business treasures.
