i had an appointment to see an apartment with Kevin. when i realized my uber made the wrong turn i messaged him on zillow to tell him i was running ten min behind. kevin called and asked where i was and i said id be there in 10 minutes he responded, “don’t come. i have another appointment i need to get to” and hung up the phone. i completely understand that it must be frustrating for people to show up late, but im assuming he aallows at least 15 minutes for people to see the apartment so id be there right on the mark. i think it was how he hung up too that really peeved me and put a bad taste with dreamtown. avoiding all of their listings on zillow.

Daryl Ceaser was an amazing agent to work with. I would recommend Daryl's expertise and professionalism to anyone! We used Daryl for renting years prior and reached back out when we were ready to purchase a home. Daryl took charge in curating a list based off of our needs in price and wants for amenities in a home and locations we wanted to live. She explained the whole process in detail and has a great team she works with from recommended lenders, attorneys and vendors for inspections. She provided honest feedback of houses based on the showing and was able to setup showing to meet our schedule. She was also always available to answer any of our questions along the process. The home we ended up choosing to purchase was one that we didn't even flag for a showing but Daryl thought it met all of our wants and it definitely did!

Nick Fallico will never be hired or recommended by me to anyone, ever. Where do I begin. I had the absolute worse, 10 month home buying experience with Nick Fallico. He failed to share the discrepancies of the home I ended up purchasing for the sake of a sale. Discrepencies any experienced realtor would have warned their buyer about..Nick was completely careless. I know this now having this being my first time purchasing a home. He took advantage of me being a first time hike buyer.. He rushed me through the entire process. It was the most draining and exhausting and intimidating process. Other friends that worked with Nick have also said the same. No value for his clients. These are lives you're impacting in finding their forever home.Never again.

David Mishel. Lazy and arrogant describes this so called agent. Knew or pretended Not to know pretty basic answers to basic questions. Treated me like I did not know anything about real estate. Comes off as slimey and not trustworthy.

My nightmare with Dreamtown. I purchased a home from Dreamtown. Dreamtown operates with very questionable ethics. They photoshop non-existent furnishings and upgrades into listings. Maybe you're thinking that this is bait and switch, which is against the law. Indeed, bait and switch is against the law. However, I'm sure they'd argue that their disclaimer that somewhere on the listing that listing images are enhanced, or it's buried in the closing or some other documents. So, just because some behavior is perfectly legal, does it make it ethical? So if realtors are free to photoshop in non-existent upgrades and other features, why not photoshop in a new kitchen? Why not photoshop in some upgraded bathrooms? Photoshop in a new inground pool! For sure, there are legit uses of digital mockups in listings, like when a property is empty, you can see what it would look like with furniture. But what Dreamtown does is an obvious abuse. I think this type of behavior is unfair to honest realtors. Look, every property has its strengths and weaknesses. But to flagrantly hide and disguise obvious warts on a property is incredibly unethical and dishonest. Just because a business practice is perfectly legal does not make it remotely ethical. Apparently for some people, a successful deceit means a "win". There obviously is a need to reform real estate laws. Once there was a time when the public was at the mercy of unscrupulous car salesmen, but "lemon laws" and an array of other laws now protect the public when they buy cars. I hope that there is similar real estate reform by the time I need to buy and sell again. After my experience, I am not looking forward to the day when I have to call on a realtor. I am hoping either for some protective laws, or that AI or some app eliminates the need for Realtors in the next decade or two. Dreamtown also enables dishonest behavior from their sellers. They promise items that are indeed not left when the closing is finished, because they leave them off the closing. Again, super shady, but perfectly legal. When I called them out on it, their attitude was basically "gosh, I dunno what happened, but it's not on the closing papers" (translation: "you're out of luck sucker". So the lesson to other realtors is: just promise whatever, then hope the buyer doesn't read every letter of the closing documents. Great way to operate. This was far from the only gotcha moment. Exacerbating our unpleasant experience, the sellers of our property expertly hid several expensive problems, including dangerous DIY electric work, a hot tub that leaked gallons of water, and a sewer gas leak, which became very apparent less than 24 hours after the closing. Maybe I'm old school or just naive, because when I sold my home, I didn't hide any problems, and the photos of my former home looked exactly as my home actually looked. My selling agent did not photoshop in any furnishings or features that did not exist, in order to cover up things that were out of date or missing. And the crazy thing is that my home sold anyhow, in a timely manner, and with a profit that we were VERY happy with. My point is that none of these petty tricks that they engage in are even necessary, because first of all we bought the house! Lesson: if a house is in a good neighborhood, was cared for, and has good bones, it will sell. But maybe Dreamtown agents are simply not clever nor confident enough to sell a decent home by entirely honest and ethical means. They need to nickle and dime the buyer with petty tricks. This company operates by the most cynical and dishonest means. Buyer beware! Buyer, AND seller beware!

Realtor had no idea how to market a beautiful property. A three bedroom unit five minutes from downtown with a great outdoor space-56' deck. Wasted six months. I have had more traffic with my new Realtor in 3 weeks than I had in six months with Dream Town.

My fiancé and I highly recommend Martha Turner. She was instrumental in finding us a place we can call home in the suburbs. As first time home buyers, we needed guidance every step of the way. Martha provided us with just that. She kept in communication, was honest and forthright, and best of all, educated us with the whole process of home buying from the beginning to close. We felt she was looking out for us and was engaged in finding the best home for our situation. We felt very comfortable working with her and would absolutely recommend her to any future home buyers, or if you're looking for an Real Estate Agent to work with.

We just closed on the house that Aaron Masliansky helped us purchase and we are delighted to recommend him! From the moment we started working with him, Aaron was incredible organized and proactive. His pleasant and professional demeanor made the house hunting process enjoyable; anytime we were together or on the phone, Aaron gave us his undivided attention and made us feel like his most valued client. Furthermore, he is incredibly knowledgable and passionate about the real estate market and the area. We felt like we were in such competent hands having him negotiate on our behalf. And thanks to his hard work, we are finally home!

They provided misinformation as a seller agent for a property we bought. Steer away from them if they represent the property you are interested in buying

My partner Lauren and I had an excellent experience working with Aida Beganovic from Dream Town Realty. We are first time homebuyers and were looking to buy a 2 flat so that Lauren's parents could be close to us and our 2 year old son. Aida has a deep knowledge of the Chicagoland area and helped us key in on promising neighborhoods. She was very patient with us and put in a lot of time making sure that we were happy with our housing choice. She really took time to understand exactly what we were looking for and helped us navigate the difficult terrain of lending options including construction financing. If you are looking for an agent that will listen to you and fully support you through the purchasing process I cannot suggest a better person to recommend.

Martin Abraham is an extremely valuable asset to the Chicagoland Real Estate community.
I was put into a really tough spot when relocating for work/re-entering the rental market after being a homeowner and other caveats that made it hard to procure a lease on such short notice.
I reached out about an apartment, explained by situation, and, although it didn't work out in the end, he was always available to answer any questions and made communication between the owner and I hassle free.
That being said, once I settle into town and am prepared to buy again, I know exactly who I'm calling. Thanks again, Martin!
