I love this store, especially since it's so close to me. Before I would have to go very far to a dollar general. But now, don't have to. I love shopping there. Service is good and people working there are polite and helpful..

I shop all over Chi to get bargains and I have never seen any other store managed as ridiculously as this place! When they get shipments in, they set all the boxes in the aisles, in front of the merchandise making it impossible to get what you came for. This is a constant occurrence, the boxes just sit there for days!!Common sense should tell these people that if customers can't get at the merchandise, they can't make the money they are open to get. ??I have moved carts of boxes in my way here. I have squeezed between boxes and shelves to get what I came here for, I'm done with this place, clearly they don't want my money!!

Like most dollar stores, it can be pretty junky in there with crates in the aisles. That said, the staff are AMAZING. I go there often and they're always so kind and pleasant. I forgot my wallet one time and they put my items behind the counter until I came back. The customer service is WONDERFUL.

I love this store and the employees are always sweet even tho underpaid and overworked (the reason for only 3 stars). I SUGGEST IF YOU SHOP HERE And AGREE, TIP YOUR CASHIER IF YOU ARE ABLE. ?

Once was one of my favorite places to shop.Now everytime I go there are always boxes in every isle and shelves are always empty.So for this I won't waste my time adding this location to my list.Might be due to staff shortage but they should hire someone to work after hours to stock shelves.

OMG! The shelves are ALWAYS empty(especially, laundry detergent & cleaning supplies) in this Dollar General store(Broadway/Hollywood Blvd). Then! There are always big totes, U-boats & pallets lying in the aisles. You can’t use a shopping cart because there is very little room, because of the big totes, u-boats & pallets! And why is this store just generally messy! It’s filthy & dusty. start hiring people! I know people who have REPEATEDLY applied to work here. And NEVER get a callback. This Dollar General location has NO PLACE to be picky OR discriminatory about hiring, right now. YOU NEED HELP! And It’s evident management don’t care, by the looks of this store. It’s ridiculous!
