The folks at Dog’s Life On Damen are great. I feel like they are genuinely excited to see my dog every time I bring her in.

We love Dog's Life on Damen and all of the amazing folks that take care of our "kids" 3-4 days a week. All of our dogs have grown up and been socialized at this awesome day care/boarding establishment. We refer them to everyone we know looking for daycare or overnight boarding. Our dogs can spend a week there while we are vacation and can't wait to get back for daycare the next day. They take care of them like family! Simply the best!!

DLOD is THE absolute best dog daycare experience I have ever had. First, they helped me raise my rescue pit/box ~ essentially a miracle as Nessie was a messie after living at four different places in the first year of her life. They taught me how to work with her energy (showed her love by nipping too much)~ now she is so sweet without the attitude! The excellent handlers/owner also alerted me to get her limp checked out as they were concerned she had torn her ACL and she did!! I was in denial~ It was a 3 month recovering after surgery and they were able to keep her active, yet calm so she did not re-injure herself. There are so many great things about DLOD~ I am always getting reports about her day and the silly things she does~ she is in great hands and is well loved. Thank you all at DLOD!!!

Very poor facilities- all cement and it smells of urine. Dogs are caged most of the day (all in one room). Facility is not staffed 12-2pm or overnight 7pm-7am. Beware.

I take my dog here multiple times a week. I board him there regularly. He gets so excited to go here he jumps out of the car every time. My dog is always tired when he comes home and he's happy. Also, they have two former vet techs on staff, one of which noticed a bite mark my dog got a dog park. They cleaned and disinfected there wound and probably saved his life.Great rates, good people, terrific business.

We brought out dog to Dogs Life on Damen for his first time boarding. He is blind and deaf, and the staff was amazing with him! They handled him so thoughtfully. We were nervous to leave him for the first time, but we are very grateful they took such good care of our boy!

I love this place! I work from home so there isn’t a big need for me to use daycare, but I send Loki The Basenji (he is famous in the neighborhood, obviously) on occasion to socialize him with other dogs and humans. Loki is always excited to visit. He practically drags me from the car directly to the front door. When I pick him up, the staff tell me how sweet of a dog he is and how much he enjoys playing with the other dogs. Then minutes after we get home, he is clearly exhausted and out for the night. Job well done!

My pup has gone to several daycares, but she's never more excited than at DLoD. It may not be as, uh, polished as others, but it's reasonably priced (especially if you have two dogs), the staff is great, and again, my pup absolutely loves them. Highly recommend.

They deleted my review so here I am again. They crated my dog for the entire 8 hours he would be there and did not let him play. I believe they abused my dog. He became aggressive after taking him there and I didn’t know why until I took him out of this daycare and his behavior slowly improved.

they crated my puppy for the entire day and wouldn’t let him play. They didn’t tell me about his “bad behavior” or that they couldn’t handle him, they just took my money to crate him for 8 hours a day. This caused him to become aggressive at home and he’s since improved after taking him out of “day care”

They didn't let my dog out to play they crated him the whole time he was there, causing him to be aggressive. I believe they abused him. This is not a true day care do not take your dog here unless you want them to have bad behavior and undo all of their training.

I've been looking for a daycare with pick up and drop off and I found Dog's life on Damen. I went in and told them that I needed pick up and drop off + daycare for my dog and I specified the dates (holidays) and they said that they could take him without an issue and that 1 day was enough notice to book, so they charged me $700 for 20 days of daycare and transportation.I called them 5 days later and owner said that they the person who charged me the $700 must have gotten confused and probably didn't check, but they cannot take my dog and that they were full for the days I requested... But how does someone doesn't check for availability and charges you $700??The owner didn't even apologize for the mistake, not even when I went in to get my refund.
