The best collection under one roof for modern furniture, lighting, accessories including iconic pieces from Herman Miller, Knoll, etc. Not for the traditionally minded. Very helpful, friendly staff.

Selection was okay but construction quality and prices are really of the mark. I could almost understand the enormously high furniture prices these days of the quality was of high grade, but it's not and evidently manufacturers don't even have to try hard because people seem to buy anything these days.)
The Chicago Studio occupies a newly renovated building at the southern edge of Lincoln Park, an area rich with specialty shops, theaters and restaurants. The Studio, among our largest, has ample space to display furniture and accessories in dramatic and innovative contexts. Items throughout the Studio are arranged into “houses” containing 35 room vignettes to help you envision how they might fit in your own home. Other eye-catching features include the Light Cloud of pendant light fixtures, the Dining Test Lab with 50 classic dining chairs available for test drives – this is the only place in the world where you can see this many iconic dining chairs in one setting – and the Design Library Swatch Wall of 300-plus upholstery tiles.
