In general, retail pharmacies are in crisis and CVS corporate is trash. I really like Wafa and Anna the pharmacists, the entire team is very kind and attentive. If I know there names and they bother to know mine, I think they’re great.
In the store, it can messy but it’s better than any other cvs or walgreens in the area so I will take what I can get. The staff are clearly doing the best they can and are getting tons of questions on topics they cannot answer particularly by migrants in foreign languages. They handle it with patience and kindness. The management also clearly tried to hire foreign language speakers.

I got the worst service at the pharmacy ever. I been getting my medication at the CVS Ogden since 2001. I can say that since the past Pharmacy Manager retirement there has been a decline in customer service. The new staff appear to have lack empathy, professionalism, and respect for the customer. On this evening 8/29/2024 @ 8:50 pm encounter with the young female in pharmacy, the way she communicated with me, questioning after showing that on the phone I had gotten a message about having 2 refill medication needing to be picked up, she a was rude, none empathetic, and talked back like I was bothering her, instead of focusing doing her job and answerng the questions about the medication. When I shared that I didn’t appreciate the way she was talking to me, she tried to be dismissive instead of acknowledging her rudness. This pharmacy need to hire individual with positive solid character.

Worst Pharmacy in Chicago. Their automated system is annoying. They did not have my prescription in stock and they did not reach out to me. Bad customer service.

I waited in line to pick up a prescription and had two additional items in hand at check out. The pharmacist would only ring up my prescription bc she said they were "backed up." So then I had to take my other two items and wait in the general check out line to pay for those separately. Horrible customer service.

Exceptional service at the pharmacy. The pharmacist was so helpful explaining the vaccinations I needed and even helped me out with obtaining a vaccine they didn’t offer. Will go back for all my needs!

I called about updating my insurance because I was able to at my last location. The man I was speaking with on the phone couldn't take my information and could only do it in person. Okay that's fine. I didn't like his rude tone but I let it go because it must've been a rough morning for him or something. I started to ask a couple questions about my refill but he would speak over me and ask his. Almost every question was met with him talking over me. I gave up and stopped asking after the 3rd time just so we don't waste our time talking over each other. Very rude & such a lack of basic dialogue. I understand that it could get busy and stressful but he could benefit from a more polite approach. Originally 1 star, but because I've spoken with other kind pharmacists here I'll add one more.

Pretty solid neighborhood drug store. Some food, some booze, some household sundries. Occasional outages of some prescription drugs. All in all, a useful place.

In May and June of this year, pharmacist Wafa Madni cared for me in a magnificently friendly manner as I sought a battery of shots and titers in preparation for a new position in Chicago. She was exceptionally attentive, with a charmingly personable and occasionally humorous demeanor, and she went out of her way to assist me when she learned that I was a disoriented newcomer to Chicago. She won my loyalty!

Our CVS at Ashland and Division closed this spring and we were switched to this CVS on Ogden. So far I have been unimpressed. They don't seem to maintain an adequate inventory of prescription medications so we wait for days for a prescription to be ordered to the store and then ready for pick up. I'm going to look for an alternative because waiting for days for needed medications is a hassle with potential health consequences.

As a shopper I hardly ever return a defective item, but this was an exception. CVS made it easy to get a refund, then make a new purchase because of the knowledgeable customer service.
