The manager of this location does an amazing job and I love the staff. I'm so sad I can no longer use this pharmacy due to a change of insurance.

This CVS pharmacy location has becoming increasingly worse over the past several months; from not answering the telephone, to staff who are not knowledgeable regarding medications. I have had the pharmacy tech attempted to give me someone else's medication. I have also had a pharmacy tech tell me information about an incorrect medication. I will be switching my pharmacy elsewhere, as it has become dangerous getting medication filled at this location.

Terrible service at this location. Been a customer here for years and never had a problem until now. Long wait times on the phone. Pharmacists will purposely drop the call after waiting to speak with someone for 15-30 minutes not to mention the most annoying chat bot and waiting music Ive ever heard. Probably wasted close to 3 hours of my life this week trying to get a prescription refill fulfilled. I literally called both the Osco and Walgreens pharmacy's to switch pharmacies and both of them answered within a minute or two.

I’ve had mixed experience here, they’re not especially warm or welcoming, and they refuse to answer the phone. I recently tried calling, and the phone rang for like 25 min. I walked in on my way home from work while I had them on the phone waiting for an answer, and they were all just ignoring it. They weren’t even especially busy. I work full time and go to school, and sometimes I need to call an order in because the app can be unreliable. Every other location I’ve visited has been a lot more pleasant and helpful.

I have been going to this pharmacy for 7 years and although things have changes since the pandemic (what hasn't), this is still a place where people know your name and you know theirs. Fast, efficient and friendly staff that does not shy away from telling you that another pharmacy/chain has better prices than they do for non-covered drugs, and that applies coupons automatically for non-covered drugs. The only ding I have to give - and that is not the staff's fault - is that they regularly are out of some prescriptions and have to backorder them; I am not sure if this is because it is such a small outfit or because they have a high demand from too many customers - after all, everyone goes to Target and this is a central location for all of South Loop. Otherwise, 5 stars!

Very nice place but kind of reduced products. You spect in Chicago a huge CVS but it contains more than necessary things you need!!!!

Going in wasn't terrible but if you call in they'll just hang up on you. Check the other reviews here, it's been a consistent pattern for months.

Just spoke to the rudest person on the phone here. I called to request 2 prescriptions. One for myself and one for my son. After she verified our names and dates of birth and what medication we needed I realized she had me on speaker. When I asked her if she did in fact have me on speaker she removed me. I then informed her just so she knew that I was having a hard time hearing her and she laughed. Not only is that rude and completely unprofessional I was giving her my personal information and I was on speaker! That is a clear HIPAA violation.

I wish this wasn’t my neighborhood pharmacy because I don’t think I’ve ever had a pleasant experience here. I understand that everyone and everywhere is understaffed, but ANY sort of acknowledgement whatsoever goes a long way. My most recent experience entailed me waiting at the vaccine check-in for over 15 minutes while the pharmacy tech looked over at me and continued to help medication pickups. If he had even just said that he will get to me when he gets a chance, I would’ve felt better about the situation. But he completely walked by me multiple times and scurried away every time.

I’ve been calling the pharmacy since 9:04 AM and the first time I was on hold 10 minutes. I then called back to hold another 5 minutes. So, I decided to call the main number to speak to guest service and the first time I held for a few minutes only for the call to be disconnected. Called guest service back and the line rang for a few minutes before I gave up. It’s sad when Targets customer service becomes sub par.

Usually don't have problem when pick up meds in person. But when I Called in for a prescription a couple times , the call ended while waiting . Waste of my time.
