Terribly managed store. They have yellow tags out that show a sale price, so I pick up a couple items for the sale and go to check out, but the sale price doesn't come up at the register. An employee comes over and says they put out the tags early because they won't have time tomorrow and the sale likely starts then, so I'll have to pay full price. He then asks if I still want the items and I leave (this CVS stores will not get my business). At other CVS stores, they can manage putting yellow sale tags out on the correct days, and if they mess up, they still honor the sale price. Avoid, as it's a waste of time to guess if any of the yellow tag prices will be honored here.

Horrible experience at the pharmacy counter. I was visiting from Michigan and went in there to purchase a cough syrup from over the counter; then headed towards the pharmacy register to pay for it. The black girl at the register rudely said we don't ring out FS items. I use to work for CVS and I know for sure that there no such thing. Some managers implement that in their pharmacy during rush hours when the lines are long but mind you there was no one behind me. When I told her I know there is no such thing because I was an employee of CVS she disrespectfully said in a arrogant manner no we don't do that here she said that because she didn't feel like doing it which is not professional at all. It was not even close to lunch time it was 11:30am 10/1/24. I went to the front store to pay and Dee ~ the supervisor helped me & told me to do a survey and complain about her, she did not bother to take an action or confront her.

Wanted to purchase an item that sold for a little over $11.00. When I went to the register I had coupons for 40% off, $3.00 off and 15 cents off. I told the cashier I wanted to use all three coupons. She told me dollar amount was $8.67. (She had only taken off the last two coupons). I explained that she had not taken off the 40% coupon and she became very surly with me and insisted she did. I asked her to call the manager and she kept mumbling under her breath. The manager came up and explained to her that she did not take off the 40% off. I told her I wanted all coupons used. She then told me I should not interfere as I was just a customer. She said she didn't tolerate "lip" from a customer. I asked her name and she pulled it out and spelled out her name one letter at a time - E R I N. The manager did the job satisfactorily but walked away after he had the correct charge. I told Erin I would call corporate and her reply was: "Go ahead, they don't care. They won't bother listening to you."
I called corporate and the girl in customer service told me that it would go to the leadership committee. I asked her if I could get a call back from the District Manager and she said that they get so many customer complaints a day that they can't return all the customers' calls. I was shocked. At first I thought she was kidding. I never did get a call back from the District Manager (I did formally request one and she put it in her notes) and it's almost two weeks now.
I don't think Erin has a right to treat customers like that. She was in the wrong and should have apologized. The manager who fixed the mistake (Al - a staff manager) simply fixed the mistake and did not get involved either even though he could hear the way Erin was talking to me. I think he was afraid of her.
It is very clear that Erin needs special training in dealing in customer service. If she is this unhappy with her job she needs to leave. Otherwise, customers will be forced to go to Walgreens over CVS.

This employee(Ronald) is the worst employee CVS hired to manage their store. He’s got very poor customer ethics and aggressive.
Just to make a purchase at the register and cash back he made it into an issue that was easily avoidable because he escalated what never was an issue all because I asked to be attended to at the main register
. But he was rude with his approach asking me to use self check-out but I implied that I needed to make a return as well as cash-back which is the reason for the cash register request.
With his intonation I called him out on his behavior and asked how long he’s been working there because have done cash back before.. he then he’s been working there 8 months and said congratulations to me for having been an old customer to cvs rudely.
Wow! how appalling…..mind you there was no other customer in the store but him and another employee and my child. So I did what I needed to do then right before exiting the store he proceeded to chat what happened with the other guy. At this point I stepped back to tell him I have never had any cvs employee be rude before and he’s then proceeded to tell me “call support if you want, I make 85,000 a year so he doesn’t care”
This dude needs lessons on customer relations as well as anger management

Small and clean store. I stopped here to get some quick bite for the day. It would be nice if they had larger fruit/veggie sections but what they have did the trick.
Both ladies behind the cash register were helpful in navigating me through the store.

Going downhill fast. Hire more employees. Stock more products. If you have to lock products on shelves and leave the rest empty because of theft, you need more staffing. Perhaps an armed security guard too.

I called this pharmacy as a prescriber and was told that it makes no sense that we are calling in a prescription for our patient. We are a urgent care that is located in South Carolina and a patient was down her visiting family and needed to be seen. We sent in a prescription for the patient through the system and the pharmacy did not received it. So I tried to call the pharmacy so I can just give it to them over the phone and he did not want to receive the information I was trying to give him for our patient.

As a visiting Canadian, I obviously would not have a CVS Extra Care card, and as such I am not entitled to certain discounts. That's downright discriminating. Do better, CVS.

All right, so I swung by this CVS in Chicago and, well, it was pretty average. Nothing to write home about, ya know? It's your typical chain pharmacy, with all the essentials you'd expect.First things first, the layout was decent. It wasn't confusing or anything, and I could find what I needed without wandering around like a lost puppy. The shelves were neatly stocked, and the aisles were wide enough for me to browse comfortably. So, kudos for that. But let's talk about the staff. They were...fine, I guess. Not overly friendly, but not rude either. They did their thing, ringing up purchases and answering basic questions, but nothing really stood out. It was all just kind of meh. I didn't feel any real customer service vibes, if you know what I mean. Now, when it comes to prices, I wasn't blown away. I mean, it's CVS, so I didn't expect any crazy deals or anything. Some stuff seemed a bit overpriced compared to other places, but convenience comes with a price tag, I suppose. If you're in a pinch and need something urgently, it's convenient to have a CVS nearby, but I'd still shop around for better deals if I had the time. One thing that bugged me a bit was the lack of variety in certain areas. The selection of certain products was limited, and they didn't have some of the specific brands I was looking for. It felt like they were missing a little something, you know? I've been to other pharmacies with a wider range of options, so it was a bit disappointing in that regard. The checkout process was pretty straightforward, no major complaints there. The lines weren't too long, and the cashier scanned my items efficiently. No hiccups or delays, which is always a plus when you're in a hurry. This CVS in Chicago was just average. It served its purpose as a convenient pharmacy, but it didn't wow me in any way. If you need to pick up some basic essentials or grab a prescription refill, it'll do the job just fine. But if you're looking for exceptional service or a wide variety of products, you might want to explore other options in the area.
