I went to CVS/Southport/Chicago to get a flu shot and use my $4 coupon. I hadn't made an appointment for the flu shot, but at the Minit Clinic, I was accommodated right away, for which I was grateful. I had also intended to buy some eggs using the coupon, but the only carton in stock was past its sell-by date. I bought Peanut M&Ms, instead. Heart healthy.

I'll never go to this location again. The manager is extremely rude, and simply lacks any semblance of customer service skills. Not sure it's worth it to say more.

A female pharmacist returned my call regarding my pending prescription on 8/14/2024. She sounded frustrated and interrupted me to try to finish her work quickly. She also reluctantly answered my question.
When her behavior was unprofessional I asked her if she was frustrated. She excused that because there was a bad phone connection.
Sometimes other pharmacists called me but there were no phone connection problems in the past. Even if there was a problem on the phone line today it should not be a case to be emotional and blow the air from her nose.
Though It may not have been her intention to be rude and unfriendly, it made me feel awkward and uncomfortable.
She will need to be trained enough to calm down with patience.

I can't tell you enough how much I love this cvs. The Walgreens off of Irving is one of my least favorite places to be, and this CVS is like an oasis honestly, and I've been coming here for years at this point. The fact that they're one of the only places that are still open around the clock really saves my butt as in my line of work we work really late and weird hours so I don't have time to pick up the little things I need very often. And of course I have to give props to the woman who works the late night shift. I absolutely love her, she's got a great attitude, she's so helpful, and at this point I sometimes feel the need to just stop in and chat because she's just so lovely! Thanks for being the best

Best CVS in Chicago, at least from what I've seen. It's open 24 hours, which is incredibly helpful. The employees are polite and usually wave hello as you enter. They do not barricade every item locked behind thick plastic walls as you often find at other stores, where you have to push a button and wait several minutes just to buy a stick of deodorant. They offer a surprisingly wide array of all-natural snacks, such as vegan jerky, dried fruits and veggies, peanut butter pretzel nuggets, plant-based Hershey's candy, and so on, as well as a huge selection of iced drinks. The pharmacy lines can get long, and the pharmacists can be a bit curt, but that happens everywhere. There is a Divvy Bike station right out front, as well as a parking lot.

Pharmacists were incredibly rude, treated me like an addict for getting ADHD medication because theyve had issues before, but this was not the way to treat a patient. Male pharmacist lectured me for not having insurance as though he himself were the government collecting my taxes

The pharmacy team at this location are super professional and have great customer service. I switched to them after a series of not-so-great experiences with another big chain. Mr. Tran and Mr. Rodriguez are great to deal with, highly reccomend.

Had a wonderful experience with the Pharmacist today. He was able to help me with a prescription problem and then answer several other medical questions. He pointed out a product to me and before I could to check out, I got the text saying my prescription was ready.I know this place can be busy but everything worked really well on a Saturday afternoon. No lines and friendly staff. Thank you CVS Southport!
