Don't use the pharmacy here. It was most convenient but I'll be going to the one on State and Division from now on because each time this one sucked, they made up for it. This one never has the medication I need. Last time I went, they at least told me which other CVS in the area had it so I could go there. But today a pharmacist named Tim was so awful and rude to me and unhelpful for absolutely no reason that had to do with me... other than me just existing i guess. Extremely unprofessional and unpleasant. Horrible service. Didn't have my medication. Didn't bother to check if any other CVS in the area had it -- told me they can't do that... even though they did last time. Even if they actually can't, his attitude with me needed to be adjusted from the getgo and was unnecessary!!! Anyway. Complete dismissal. I was shocked. Avoid.

The change in management is not the best choice. Richard was a great manager and had this store location at the best it had ever been! Shame on cvs!!

Update! The place has been remodeled and is much nicer with all the self checkout kiosks. I have no complaints and go to this CVS all the time!

Feels super strange to write a review for a CVS but I honestly have to. I've been going here since I moved to Chicago (5 years now!) and all of their staff is absolutely top-notch. The cashiers and managers always go out of their way to help you and are always so friendly. The store is pristine and well-stocked. Anytime I go into any other CVS it's just not the same!

Ms Kierra at the pharmacy needs a major attitude adjustment. Standing here with a mouth full of gauze immediately after an emergency/unexpected oral surgery. Clearly having a hard time talking. Don't really need a mouthful of attitude because you're having a hard time understanding me. On top of it, slow and the line is piling up behind me. And yeah, I need my medication now. It says "take 2 STAT" on the script...

The manger on duty last night was really really rude. Due to CVS customer regulations changed, that I had no idea about and felt I was put in a very humiliated position! I will never ever purchase anything from a company "suspect" me as an individual due to other customers' behaviors. I am more than happy to comply with rules communicated before the transaction but NOT being treated sneakily by a greedy corporate and their rude employee!

Why I’ll no longer use CVS.
I’ve always had issues with the sale prices at CVS. If a sale price is not on a shelf, I consider it to be full price. Apparently, CVS expects the customers to memorize the ads as well as see some signage on the shelves. This is my recent experience and the aftermath.
I have a CVS membership card and get their emails, usually at least weekly. On my way to work on January 26th, I received an email with a 20% off coupon. I know these coupons are not valid for sale items, alcohol, gift cards etc. Since there is a CVS right at my train stop, I decided to get a few items on my way to work. I purchased orange juice, decongestant and ibuprofen. Used my 20% off coupon. I have my receipt emailed to me. When I looked at my receipt, I noticed that I only received 20% on one item, the orange juice, and I saved a whopping 28 cents!
Since the decongestant and ibuprofen were not on sale nor were a part of any of the other restrictions, I was confused as to why I did not get the 20% of these products. So, I went onto the CVS website and submitted an inquiry. Was able to link my receipt up so they could see exactly what I purchased.
9 days later, I received an email from CVS. Much to my surprise, the decongestant and ibuprofen I purchased did not qualify for the 20% discount because they were part of a Buy One Get One promotion. What???? There was no signage indicating this. It is not noted on my receipt nor did the cashier mention it to me. So not only didn’t I get the 20% off, I didn’t get the second package of each product free. That’s $15.88 worth of products I could have gotten for free that I was not told about.
I followed up that email with another and this time received a response in about 4 days. It is a standard “thanks for contacting us, sorry about your issue, blah, blah, blah”. Very disappointing.
I’ll have to switch all my purchases to Walgreens where the prices are clearly marked, the sales are easy to follow and the employees actually try to help.
If someone from CVS wants to backtrack this, the contact number on the emails is 6675162
