The property, apartment, grounds, and most importantly, the on-site management and maintenance staff at one of Cushman and Wakefields properties are great. Friendly and professional. What is hard to understand is why Cushman-Wakefield (the overall property management entity) refuses to perform valid maintenance issues, such as a broken dishwasher. Big bucks, I assume. If you're just an average tennent in one of the Cushman Wakefield properties, which is funded by a much larger investment group, beware. Timothy needed an operation. We just need what was promised and the "bait and switch" rectified.

Cushman & Wakefield are the property management group of Hartman Hill in Chattanooga, TN.Update: Still no on-site maintenance as residents were told there would be 3 days per week.Still do not have a permanent property manager on-site. We have a floating property manager who is not on-site on the days/times we were recently told they would be. Continued dishonesty; When I was looking for a rental home, having an on-site property manager and maintenance was huge in my decision to lease or not. After 3 months, both are gone.Update: HVAC came over and figured out that the wires were connected incorrectly during installation. The heater was wired to run without turning off or stopping (even in OFF mode) AND it was wired to run the emergency heat feature. I sent my electric bills, daily usage charts from epb, documentation from the hvac company, and additional documents to support my case that I shouldn’t be responsible for the entirety of the electric bills. Sent that email 1/11 at 10:40 AM est. **they have not respondedUpdate: Came home today around 7 PM and my thermostat was at 94 degrees (that is with the heat turned “off from late last night). I also received my electric bill this evening and it’s $475 for a 1700 sq ft house! I work full-time so no one is home 40 hours of each week.I rented a house here because I was told that there would be on-site maintenance 3 days per week and a property manager on-site 5 days per week. This is not the case. My hvac system has had issues since November and was reported in November. My heat does not turn off, even after moving it to off. My house heats up to 85-90 degrees and will not turn off when moved to “off.” My electric bill was $361 last month. I marked this as urgent and only received a call today because I said I was leaving a google review. The homes are built horribly and the warranty department is unorganized (Melinda who works in warranty will say she scheduled something to be fixed, day of no one shows up, Melinda will say scheduling error, reschedule, no one shows up a 2nd time, I had to reach out myself again to get someone to come out after 2 no shows and zero accountability). Needless to say I’m looking for somewhere else to live. I pay almost $2800 a month and believe I can find somewhere else to live that actually follows their lease agreement and properly maintains the property.I also had a major ant infestation a few weeks ago, because of my back door not being aligned correctly, bad caulk job, etc.

The most unprofessional business I've ever had the displeasure of interacting with. I thought nobody could beat ATT, but I was wrong. At least with ATT I was paying for poor service. THEY DON'T PAY THEIR BILLS. When you ask why your invoices are unpaid you get the same non-committal response no matter who you interact with. I submitted invoices 4 months ago and have communicated with the property manager, local accounts payable, national accounts payable and even tried contacting the Chicago office. After the initial communication is made nothing comes of it. The Head Office in Chicago doesn't even bother to respond. What's more amazing is that in an era, where there is a digital record of every call made or email sent, a property manager can lie like a 6 year old! Who in their right mind would claim not to receive any recent messages and suggest that you must have dialed the wrong number without considering how that wasn't the case when your services were required?

The rental property I have be living in for almost 5 years was acquired by Cushman & Wakefield a couple of months ago. The resident service is absolutely horrible and the condition of the property has declined. There appears to be no maintenance of the property, including doors being unsecured. Take garbage to the corral at your own risk since snow and ice remains in the lot which could result in slipping when attempting to do so. Phone calls are not returned by property management and I am at an absolute loss for words.

I am from Atlanta but in Chicago on business and had a great experience at Deka , a high end women's athletic/leisure wear store. The staff was excellent and the merchandise assortment amazing. I got my Newton running shoes and couldn't be happier.
