One of the less expensive hotels we could find so close to the waterfront. Nothing to rave about but it was clean.

Fantastic experience here for our group of about 40 (mostly women). Comfortable beds, flexible & friendly staff and safe, convenient parking. We also loved that there were several areas in the lobby where our group could gather. Great location & there is a grocery across the street & a whole foods a block away (there are fridges in room and microwaves on every other floor) nice bar & coffee shop down stairs.
we also loved that there is an actual driveway to pull in for ubers & car pools.
Thanks for a great, safe stay for our group!

Terrible. I booked 4 rooms and paid in advance. They were all supposed to be double queens as we had a large group. When we got there, we only had 3 rooms, all of them only had one bed.
We asked for a cot, which they brought us without sheets or a blanket. The did include a pile of pillowcases.
One of us ended up sleeping on a love seat using the bathrobe as a blanket.
During check in, someone had puked in the foyer. When I checked out the next morning the pike was still there.
REPLY: i asked for a refund because nothing was what i paid for and i was told we used the rooms, so we are out of luck. i only got a refund for the room you sold out from under me... doesn't make up for the shitty night we all had sleeping in bed together (several men) and one guy on a couch using a bathrobe for a blanket. if you really want to "make things right" here's your chance. issue me a refund for the entire shitty time we had in chicago because of you.
otherwise, own your complete lack of service.

Besides for parking we had a great experience. It is a very clean and well kept hotel. The staff was friendly and efficient. The room was very clean and spacious, as well as provided a balcony to over look a few of Chicago's famous buildings.
The restaurant attached is OK, but recommend get out and hitting the local areas. Parking is a pain and very expensive, but I guess that's everywhere in the area. Worth every dollar spent and will be back

This hotel is old and outdated and in serious need of renovation. It reminded me of my Days Inn days back from my early college vacation stays. All the way from the check-in area in the lobby to the elevators, the curtains ( poor quality), the light fixtures in the bathrooms ( bottoms had rust in the bathrooms), the sink was collecting water, paper thin toilet paper on a damaged roll, the old bathroom wooden door , the balconies with outdated worn out trims ( balconies also have a morbid-feeling cemented portion that needs to be dismantled or redone, this hotel does not feel worth the nightly price ! I even checked the cemented area in the balcony with my torch light to make sure there were no rodents in there). The chair by the bed smelled of old fabric as if multiple people had sat in it without showering, The first room I got was so loud from the two major highways I could visibly see, I couldn’t even hear my daughter’s voice on the phone and had to walk out to the hallway. I had a 6:45 am train to catch and I knew instantly there was no way I would be able to sleep there. When I called guest services the only solution he offered me was to walk around my room wearing noise cancelling earbuds. I called downstairs to the checkin table and the first receptionist was rude ( name : Kavita ?) and unwilling to even hear me out and started arguing with me . It was only upon walking downstairs and talking to a manager face to face, I was able to switch rooms. To be honest I will not be returning here to this hotel.

I had a great stay here! The staff was very welcoming and helpful to find attractions in the area. The food in the attached restaurant was delicious! I highly recommend any of the dishes with fries and hummus. Roxanne was also an amazing person to chat with. The manager, Brian was also a pleasure to talk to. Both stopped by our group and chatted with us and gave us plenty of recommendations for the area. There was an issue with my A/C in the room. I informed the front desk, and by the time I returned, the issue was fixed!
I absolutely would stay here again.
Rooms: The king suite was perfect for a solo trip. It has everything you need, including a king size bed. The desk space was perfect for getting a bit of work done.
Walkability: There are coffee shops and grocery stores nearby. Anything worth doing is within a couple of miles of the hotel. So bring your comfortable walking sneakers.

Good spot with a great location that seems safe even late at night. It’s close to a market and a few good restaurants. Union station isn’t too far away either. Rooms were nice and bed was comfortable.
Their restaurant closes early so beware. The staff wasn’t fond of it either but out of their control.

The parking was an issue but other than that this was a nice place and reasonable price.

After 5+ hours of flight delays, we finally made it to our hotel at 4am looking forward to just plopping on the bed and getting some much needed sleep. We had made the reservation over a month in advance. Upon arrival, the front desk manager told us that they unfortunately did not have a room for us. They had accidentally left the bookings open even after they had sold all the rooms and gave them to folks on a first come first serve basis. We made calls to several hotels nearby and nothing was available. We were stranded in a new city with no place to go.
We saw some guests checking out during that time and asked if we could get their rooms. The front desk manager finally agreed to give us a room once the cleaners came in. We spent the next 4-5 hours sleeping in the hotel lobby, dead tired from our travels. The hotel staff only offered free breakfast as compensation for the harrowing experience.

I stayed here in July 2024 and did not have a good stay. My room had absolutely filthy carpet. The bed's comforter had what look like little chunks of mouse poop smooshed into the stitching. There was even some broken glass in the carpet next to the balcony's door. When I went into the bathroom at 4:30am, I killed an engorged bedbug as it was crawling away from my foot, so now I get the pleasure of sanitizing my luggage and clothing to be sure I don't have any unwelcome hitchhikers that infest my home. I will be avoiding this hotel from now on!
