Im a loyal customer who loves crossroads but my heart is broken I'm a black woman who tried to sell a moncler jacket the manger and staff said the jacket was fake and I asked my husband who is white to try and sell the same moncler jacket and they gave him an offer I called and asked why and she said they are not real authenticators and can only offer to those who they think can afford it if it's a high end brand so there is a chance that there are knock off high end items accepted because someone looks like they can afford it the jacket was real they just refused to sell it to me because blacks don't look like they can afford it and she offered to give me 5 dollars for a off brand top I was selling I wish that crossroads stop doing stuff like this you all just got caught being racist

My experience was horrible....they did not buy a single piece of clothing that I bought even though most of them were brand new with tags attached to them and were very fashionable and chic

I’ve been shopping at this spot since the 2000s and I can’t say enough great things about the staff and selection. Their pricing is very fair and you can buy designer pieces for great pricing and not worry about the legitimacy. Use the app if you’re going to sell so you can save your place in line.

Second Street is opening up next door, which should say more than enough about this thrift store. With rude indifference, this woman passed on my Helmut Lang skinny jeans, telling me they're not selling skinnys however she immediately bought a pair from the seller before me. I guess green skinnys are in! Or maybe white women's used clothing are more in style? Who knows. This is specifically for the Milwaukee location, not the Lincoln park location.

Took a VERY long time to be seen to sell clothes and then everything was rejected for being too formal. Wouldn’t have minded if I hadn’t waited so long. Won’t be going back again.

overpriced, the type of place to sell a forever 21 shirt from 2017 for $20 and ripped, cracking doc martens for $60. shoe selection is sparse and all the shoes were dirty or destroyed in some capacity.it was also hard to move around as there didn't seem to be a capacity limit and staff/customers were too busy having conversations while blocking the entrance and walkways

All the staff here is nice and welcomes you in as soon as you walk in through the door…It’s easy to shop as everything is categorized and they had a nice selection of designer pieces. Will definitely be coming here again!

If you are young and match the age of the employees, 100%! If you are not, don't bother. Twice, I have brought in, high end, trend forward and in some cases new items. Both times, very little was accepted. Several things were purchased this season. I wonder if I had a younger seller take my stuff in what would have happened?

This week I went to Crossroads to sell some clothes and was extremely dissatisfied. Not only did it take them over an hour to go through my clothes just to pull 3 pieces but also there was a staff member that was extremely rude. The staff member was not only rude to me and my friend but also his coworkers. It was clear to me that he was trying to put his coworker down and when I spoke up in her defense he had nothing to say. It was extremely upsetting to see someone being put down by their coworker at their JOB in front of customers. I hope the girl is okay and does not have to go through that daily at work.

Love this place! They really have something for everyone. Great way to get quick cash for decluttering your closet, although I often opt for the store credit option due to their eclectic inventory. The staff is also very courteous and helpful!

This is just one of my favorite crossroads. I always find something when I'm there. And it is located in Wicker Park so it's a lot of shopping and eateries. You could literally just have a fun walk and talk in Window Shop. And I have yet to meet one bad person that works there.

This people who “curate” the clothing are laughable. I had two people in front of me, one who they were just wrapping up, and another man who had five hoodies (I listened in) and I paid for 46 minutes of parking. It took them 47 minutes for me to get out of here, with only two people in front of me, because the “curator” had a literal 21 minute conversation after just calling my name with her coworker on the other side of the counter. Furthermore, she turned down a pair of Nikes I had that were worn three times, no creases, “because of their condition”… like ???? Then took five pieces of mine that were 1) originally very expensive and 2) in good condition, and offered me $50, which cost less than a single item I’d sold to them. I’d rather donate my stuff from now on and let a thrifter find my treasure than sell to this place who will resell my Tory Burch shoes they took for $60.

One of my all time favorite places to sell and buy clothing! The team is always welcoming and friendly, and the selection is eclectic and constantly changing. Both Paige and Liz are an absolute pleasure to do a buy with, I get excited whenever I see them at the buying counter (area for you to sell them your items).

really feel that it is a waste of time to sell your clothes here, I brought 3 bags and the girl only wanted a pair of pants that were new with tag ($140) and she offered me 9 dollars. You can see that there are people who go with many bags or boxes of clothes and they only want one piece of clothing and they give them a super low amount of money
