I live out of state from my rental property and CPG Management has been a life save! The follow-up on any issues/questions are taken care in a timely fashion. Keep it up the great work!

We have been renting our north shore home since 2015, without the benefit of having a professional property manager. The workload and stress of dealing with appliance failures and tenant demands just became too much. In the summer of 2023, we spent a great deal of time shopping and researching property management companies in the Chicago Metro area. After speaking and meeting with Rusty Schluchter @ CPG Management, we felt that of all the companies we spoke with, CPG and Rusty were the appropriate fit/choice. They helped identify what need to be done to "refresh" the house and landscape and provided the tradespeople as well as supervise the work. Once the work was completed, I wanted to move into the house, it looked so beautiful. They were able to find us a very good tenant in relatively short order.
Over the past few days, we developed a plumbing issue at the property. Rusty and his team were "Johnny-on-the-Spot". Kept us informed and were able to come up with plan for resolution and executed it. This is the first time, since renting this house, that we did not feel overwhelmed or anxious about the needed repairs or having to find a plumber to fix the issue. THEY DID everything. I am only sorry that we did not hire them years ago!!!

As a landlord who uses (not for much longer) CPG Management I am appalled at the way they are treating my BIPOC tenants who have rented from me for the past 20 years. I can't "prove" this, but I personally see them treating people of color as "lesser" renters.

This management company has been creeping around in my hallway at 9pm and leaving false legal notices at my door telling me to vacate....uh I own the property. Will not be renewing my contract with CPG management after this. Beware of this company. They do not do anything other than mow my lawn in front. They leave everything else outside my building in a state of disrepair, which has cost me more than what they are worth. That they are apparently willing to literally harass who they believe are tenants with fake legal documents is what I find most disturbing. This is not only illegal, according to my attorney, but it makes me, the property owner look bad. This is unacceptable and I will NOT be renewing the annual contract with CPG Management. I suggest you look elsewhere for a property management company. My advice: don't trust anything Rusty says if you choose to work with these idiots. They put in as little work as possible while charging the highest rate. If I could give ZERO stars I would.

I’ve been using CPG for over 5 years now and they do a great job and are normally quick to respond. Rusty is very easy to work with and is very knowledgeable. 5 stars for CPG!

Rusty Schlucter and his entire team do an outstanding job with my 2-flat. They handle all tenant concerns promptly with their 24/7 service team. They also let me know about things that could/should be done to properly maintain the building. And I always make the decisions the way I want things handled. They are great to work with. They have allowed me to keep my building after I moved to the suburbs, with peace of mind!

I would not recommend cpg for anyone. They have very poor customer service and definitely lack of communication. They do not care for their tenants. I am reading the comments from the property owners. My advice to the owners is check on your tenants. Ask them if their happy with the service they are receiving from cpg and how are they treating the tenants, are their issues been addressed. In my past experience I have always dealt directly with the property owner and never has an issue. Never again will I rent from cpg and do not recommend it.I moved in on 9/6. I put in a list of issues for maintainance request on 9/19. Today is 9/29 and I'm still waiting to hear, when the maintenance team will be coming in.

If I could give a -1, I would. Horrible company. Incredibly unprofessional, dont communicate, help with or provide service for anything. Behind the renovation their apartments are horrible,Uncleaned full of mold, infestations and pests. They are especially rude to BIPOC people, and black women. Not to add the constant gas lighting, and lack of empathy for tenants. Also, extra rental fees on leases. Jeff and Rusty are the worst.

These guys are total frauds if you ever have Illinois rental assistance call and check how much you was paid they will take your money and not put it towards rent as it should.

If I could give a -1, I would. This is one of the most horrible companies I have ever had to deal with. 2 years, and they have yet to clean or fix anything in the apartment. The building has had a mice infestation, as well fly infestation and horrid sewer smell. The entryway is a mess, management is ridiculous. Patched up by renovations, but internally its trash. Very rude to BIPOC, especially young black people, and don't forget the random charges being added to my rent with no explanation. Do not ever rent with these people! Communication is like a brick wall. The only response I ever get is the tenant is responsible, and we don't provide that. If i could sue i would!

I am a landlord that used CPG for property management for about a year 4 years ago. It is my first experience with a property management company and the experience has been bad all around. There's no communication to me the landlord about anything that has been going on at the rental. I have to find out that they've been charging for repairs after they release the fund to me and the number doesn't match. The tenants complained about slow repairs and unannounced entry. They hated them and begged me to stop using a management company. It eventually got to the point that one of the tenants stopped paying rent for issues caused by CPG. And how did I found out? CPG didn't transfer any fund to me for 2 month and only told me when I asked where's the money!?Landlords, don't use these guys.

I hired CPG to manage my property when I had to move out of state for work. They were very easy to work and extremely responsive to any inquiries I had or service requests from my tenants. I always received emails back within 24 hours -- usually faster -- and they were prompt and easy to work with whenever maintenance issues came up. Highly recommend.

Rusty and the team provide great property management service and helped work through important information with me in operating my first rental property. My review is long due, I have been working with CPG over 6 years.Am a landlord and live out of state and could not be happier in working with them. They have been managing multiple condos of mine.Jeff, Rusty and Criz the team provide great property management service and they stayed on top of everything.I highly recommend working with CPG management for your property management needs.I worked with them so long and mark my words you will not be disappointed.

I can't say enough with how satisfied pleased and impressed I was with the maintenance person named Chris. I feel incredibly blessed knowing that a fantastic maintenance person is standing behind and ready in the event of any unforeseeable maintenance issue. Thank you Chris.
