Been coming here for years it’s down the street from me. What differentiates this place from the rest? His personality, honesty and hard work. As cliche as that may sound, Mari, the one man op, the owner is an outstanding guy and good for the community. There is a reason his tire shop has been here for years now! Btw a little advice from a former mechanic myself, buy new tires online and get them installed here, saves you 100-200$ ?.

Fast service, fantastic work. I needed a punctured tire repaired and didn't know what to expect. I went from a truck with some heavy duty tires to a luxury SUV and so of course within the first few weeks I'd have a puncture. I looked up repair shops with good reviews and found City Tire Repair Shop. The owner had me fixed in less than 10 minutes, he did the work right in front of me, and the cost was more reasonable than I could have even imagined. I will be a return customer for as long as he's open and I'm in North Chicago. For these quick repair jobs I believe he prefers cash, but no worries, as I said, the prices are super reasonable. Give it a shot, I think you'll be pleased with the service.

Great, honest, and quick service. We had a flat rear tire and they patched it up for $20. Told me all my other tires looked good and checked the air! Cash only establishment and immigrant owned. There’s a Walgreens within walking distance with an ATM. Drive thru the back alley!

Fast and reliable.
Don’t judge book by its cover.
I’ve went to better looking tire service for a simple patch and they’ve end up offering a new tire. So friend of mine suggested this place and the mechanic got it done in 5 minutes for only 20$.
I hope these guys business will flourish and have open business all around the nation ??

they work really non organized. this was our first time but they gave us bad service from the start but we stayed and we were waiting patiently. they told us to park the car in the back lot and we did that then they took the car keys and exactly 2 hours passed and still no service for our car. we went to check how things were going with them, but they turned on our car and forgot to turn it off, as a result our car remained running for two hours. this is at the very least very irresponsible!

Extremely honest.inwent to get a nail out of my tire and I over heard him giving tire prices over the phone so I inquired. He not only quoted me a great price but told me my back tires were good still. He could have got me for all 4 but his integrity shined. I will definitely recommend him to anyone I know who needs tires.
