My experience is very much like the one described by Beth below. Inhuman personel - out of 20-25 calls to the call centers, only one agent was really trying to help and to understand the absurd situation... The bankers in the branch were clueless about what is going on an failed again and again to help. After trusting their sweet promises for "gold benefits", etc., I made a major mistake and have transferred a significant amount of money only to find it locked there, after my first attempt to wire out a small portion of the amount in the checking account.Total Nightmare!

Don't open account in this citi branch!! I opened an account this February, made a large deposit the same day and maintained the balances until now. But I never received the $ 700 opening amount bonus as they promised when opening the account. I have contacted the online customer service representative and they verified that I had met all the requirements. They said I need to talk with this branch directly to get the bonus as I opened my account in the branch instead of online. HOWEVER, the call I made to this branch can never be answered!! VERY DISAPPOINTED ABOUT THIS BRANCH!!

I want to thank Citi - Bank in their need towards staying open and taking a huge risks in the mists of this pandemic in continued services with the public. Most banks are closed and are offering limited services, drive - through services, ATM and phone calls to their customers and possible new customers. This branch is open and you can talk to a live Personal Banker and the tellers are working the tellers both still at this location. I was in need of opening a new bank account with a bank that offers a diversified portfolio of products and services. The current bank that I have a present account with is a much smaller bank and offer limited services. Despite some issues I have heard about this bank from others over the years, Citibank is worldwide and no matter where you go there is either a branch, location or ATM available for you. So I went up to the window, went to the door, it opened and much to my surprise someone was available to serve me and there were tellers there to assists customers as well!!! There was only one Personal Banker available and her name was Kanisha R. She was helping another customer, but it didn’t take long before she was able to assist me with opening a new account. She was abhelpful, kind, experienced professional and her knowledge and quick guide to the banks services and starting my online banking services made the experience well worth me coming in during these challenging times. The whole meeting of opening my new account probably was a process that lasted thirty minutes at the most. So if you are seeking a new account or have questions involving a existing account or looking for some one on one personal assistance than you might want to stop in at 69 W Washington location. Again, thanks for opening your location to the public and taking a chance in servicing US - THE CUSTOMER and thanks to Kanisha for her providing excellent customer service experience to me!!!!
