When embarking on the journey of purchasing a Christopher Peacock kitchen, I anticipated a masterpiece of design and quality. However, my experience over the past year has been nothing short of a roller coaster ride filled with highs of hope and lows of disappointment. From the start, I was excited to engage with Christopher Peacock's team, hoping for a unique and mind-blowing kitchen design. Unfortunately, my expectations were too high, and the initial design process turned out to be lackluster. 2 showroom meetings and 2 site visits later, I found myself with a rather ordinary kitchen design – nothing terrible, but certainly not the exceptional outcome I had envisioned. The first signs of frustration appeared when it came time to finalize decisions about hardware, finish, and inserts. I assumed that a high-end establishment like Christopher Peacock would accommodate my husband's schedule, especially considering the significant investment we were making. However, flexibility was in short supply, with little to no accommodation for clients' time constraints. Sean, the designer in the Chicago showroom, was only available during the short official hours even for clients with existing contracts. After much back and forth he awarded me one extra hour which was not nearly enough time for my husband and I to get through everything and rush decisions were made. It was at that point when Sean revealed that the hardware you see in advertisements and on line was actually uncomfortable and even hazardous and not to be used on kitchens that intended to be used, not just displayed. The delivery itself was a comedy of errors. What should have been a carefully curated kitchen turned out to be a "rough draft" full of design errors, broken pieces, and incorrect components. While Sean, attempted to rectify some of these issues, some mistakes were simply unfixable – including a major oversight regarding the size of my existing range. The quality control throughout the process was severely lacking, with errors piling up and corrections dragging on for months. The lack of proactive communication was especially frustrating – I was left in the dark about progress, only receiving vague timelines and updates when I initiated contact. One of the most glaring issues was the lack of attention to detail and design oversights. Elements that should have been integral, such as a surround for a built-in wine fridge and proper placement of outlets inside cabinets, were overlooked. At that time I also learnt that they do not use soft close mechanisms and rely on magnets to keep the doors closed. Those magnets need to be constantly calibrated. What they presented to me as a final product in July was made by a vision impaired apprentice. Work dragged on.As I write this review, a year has passed since the project's inception, and my kitchen remains unusable. Attempts to contact Christopher Peacock's team have yielded no response for the past two weeks. In summary, my journey with Christopher Peacock's kitchen design has been marked by unfulfilled promises, breach of warranty and a stunning absence of quality control.

Run don't walk. They take all of your money up front. Won't return your phone calls, emails and have more excuses than you could think of yourself. The pictures look nice online but that is not the product you will receive.

I spent 2 years researching kitchen cabinets before going with Peacock. I entered the process with exceedingly high expectations, after all these guys are expensive. I can say without any reservations Peacock (Sean Daley is the point person) exceeded my expectations . From design to installation to selection of material ie marble ,appliances etc. I could not be more satisfied. The quality in every aspect manufacturing, installation, hand painting on site has been superior. My wife loves them( those of you who don't know me have no idea how incredibly high a seal of approval that is). There is also a lot of value added that they provide that is not apparent as first glance. A+++
