I have a vacation coming up & haven't flown for almost 7 years. WFH has made me lax on attire & any woman can agree... finding the right pairs of jeans is an undertaking. It can be a lot of trial, error, & hopping in a fitting room. I also needed make up as the shade of foundation & concealer I had, was more of a summer shade. Being home all the time = being less tan. I used to like shopping but now, I hardly have the patience. After enough internal whining, I stuffed myself into an Uber & arrived at Nordstrom. Haven't been here in ages but was hopeful I'd still receive the great service & selection I did long ago. (While Old Orchard was closer to me, their service was poor & really soured my experience.) I'm happy to say I did. Sandy was extremely helpful with finding "that pair" of jeans - she understood my needs. I must've tried 8-10 different pairs of varying brands & ended up getting 2 I was absolutely in love with. I would have a third, but there wasn't a lighter color available at this time. I'll surely be back though! Afterwards I headed for the MAC counter. I am by no means a make up person & will wear the bare minimum but what I had at home was just not working out for me. I was super happy when I was approached first - Nicole was really warm & friendly! I asked for help finding the right shade of foundation / make up. She found tones I was really pleased with - I was shook. I am a potato at home but I needed help de-potato'ing for my trip & just looking more presentable in general. She felt this, lol. If you're pressed for time or just dreading the struggle of shopping, I definitely recommend this location. The staff is amazing, helpful, & genuine. I'm actually looking forward to coming back!

I came here to buy my sister her first Christian louboutin shoes.Our sales representative was Zack. He took his time and let us try multiples shoes until we found what we want . We are very pleased with the customer service ,and we are coming back ?

I love Nordstrom and their services in general. But not this one- I ordered a replacement strap for my LV from the store located in at this Nordstrom location (at Grand Ave, Chicago). I stood there for almost 1.5 hours before they could locate my record and finally place the order- this was in Aug 2022. I received an email from them in Sep 2022 saying the order is ready for PU. I took out time to go there, again the staff took around 1.5 hours to locate the record- told me that the strap is somewhere in the store but they cannot find it. I was told they will ship it to me- I confirmed my address and phone details. It's now Jan 2023, and I still haven't heard from them!I think I might get the replacement strap in 2024 now- if I am lucky!

Nordstrom has always been my go to department store. But this location has definitely stood out to me. Thank you to Robin in women's apparel for her customer service. I came in here looking for a black top and she went above and beyond to help me find the right top. Robin reserved a fitting room for me and added additional items into my room. I tried on over ten tops and robin was always there with a smile to assist me with all needs. Thank you Robin!

Some guy flashing his impressive title made my friend and I move out from shelter against the building because we were blocking the flow of traffic whole waiting for the parade. Note: we were out of pedestrian traffic and not blocking any door or anyone. He just needed to feel like the big man. Too funny! Scrooge in Chicago!

Shoe shopping at Nordstrom is always an entertaining experience. We love shoes, and their selection never disappoints us. While I didn't find anything for myself today, my kids both walked away grinning for ear to ear .

BUYER BE WARNED: A great brick and mortar store to shop in for inspiration but I do not recommend buying onsite. If they do not have your size or style in stock, then sales associates may order the wrong items for you assumingely for commission's sake. You probably can save time and money buying online once you know what you want after shopping onsite.

Nordstrom is awesome as always! They always retouch each floor and the service is amazing. Everyone always has a smile on their face and ask if you need any help. They also had rotating art exhibits and live music! The selection of clothing is great and the Nordstrom experience never disappoints. If you are into scents, they now have a Le labo specific booth as well! Make sure to swing by and check it out.

I was in Chicago this past weekend, and I did a little shopping with my partner! Mind you, I’ve never owned a pair of Christian Louboutin and I was just looking as my partner was inquiring only about a fragrance. We were greeted by Mina or it could of been Nina, lol. I’m sorry love, Who was absolutely amazing! She greeted us and made us feel welcomed from the time we stepped into the store. She was the only person on the floor at this time, and she managed to not only assist my partner and I, but answer phone calls, answer other customer questions, get our sizes and assist with trying them on. Her bubbly attitude, and her resilient personality made this experience one to remember! She was amazing from beginning to end, and I walked out of there with my first pair of CL!

My partner and I were on vacation in Chicago and of course needed a little shopping before coming home. We stayed downtown so this location in Nordstroms was the most convenient for us. Mena had that store on lock. She was most pleasant to work with. Suggestions on styles of shoes, comfort and colors. She had us is one area trying on, ringing another customer, answered phones and getting shoes from the back. If u shop here, presentation of you purchase is carefully executed and she managed to hit that out of the park. I only came in for a fragrance and walked out with 2 pairs of shoes. I still wish they carried fragrances. Other employees came into work during our visit and were kind and respectful as well. However, Mena made this location for service one to remember and we will return on our next trip out.

Absolutely love my Ricky belt. I always see people with LV belts and Gucci belts, but never with a Ricky belt!And I bought it from an associate living in Rogers park at the time, where I also lived, so that was cool!
