My review got deleted. I took down an old review because I wanted to give this place a chance but NOPE! Today I spoke with Peter Solber (Service and parts director) over the phone and he spoke to me like I was some idiot that couldn't comprehend what he was trying to explain to me over the phone. I didn't like his tone or how aggressively rude he was speaking towards me and ended up getting super direct with him in return. Our conversation was like a war of words that ended with him saying, "I'm done, come get your car!!" Then hangs up the phone on me. I seriously can't believe these are the kind of people this dealership hires to deal with customers on a daily basis. Talking to Peter Solber over the phone felt like I was speaking with a unprofessional, loud, overly aggressive, extremely rude, high school bully. The second I felt he was being disrespectful over the phone was when I didn't feel the need to hold back anymore. It's truly disgusting how you have people like this working for you. There really is no point in being upset anymore or surprised because I already expect this kind of treatment from the employees who work here. Super rude, petty, aggressive, unprofessional, and pathetic. Learn how to control your emotions and deal with customers instead of trying to intimidate them over the phone with your sarcastic comments and disgusting tone of voice. Jocelyn Nava is a great example of how employees should be. She's attentive, has great customer service skills, has patience and treats customers with ultimate respect. Take notes from her! She's the most attentive service agent and is always helping customers to the best of her ability with kindness. I think she's the only person that works here who actually takes their job serious to be honest. Everyone else comes off with the super fake vibes. Tony isn't a great service agent. I'd be standing there in line and it seems like he doesn't want to acknowledge customers and isn't helpful or pleasant. Instead of gossiping amongst your employees or pretending to act busy on the computer, why don't you do your job. Your energy is horrible.I don't expect a genuine response or any of these complaints to be resolved because I came to the conclusion a long time ago that this dealership is a circus full of rude, disrespectful, hostile and unprofessional clowns.

I have not been to a Toyota dealership in over 6+ years. And the reason I stopped going was due to how high the cost was. I was not wrong going to north side Toyota. I thought maybe being that this service shop was about 2 miles from where I am I would be wrong. I was just in for an oil change and tire rotation and I waited over 2.5 hours. I learned that in the middle of the shift the service associate that checked me in disappeared and no one could find him. A different service associate helped get me checked out. It was saw that no one really attempted to talk to me. I was really disappointed as well since I booked online and did not get the credit for the $5 off which the website says I should have been given. This will be the last time I ever go to a Toyota dealership for car service work. One would think that a dealer gets bulk oil so oil changes should be more reasonable.

Some sketchy reviews here, but my experience with James Ross in Sales was outstanding! He understood my needs, showed me the vehicle I was interested in, and we went on an informative test drive. He connects with clients in such a way that I would feel confident sending my friends to him.

08/30/23 - Go figure I go to this big ass 5 story Toyota dealer/service on Western Ave just south of Peterson to go look at a 2021 Honda Accord. I went to see a 2021 Honda Accord that they had listed on the internet. I had a 2011 6 cylinder Honda Accord that was just shy of 205,000 miles. I loved that car but it was time. After an exhaustive search I found the car I wanted. It's not brand new but pretty dam close w16,000 miles in it. Well I've been on the market for a car to replace my 2011 6 cylinder Honda Accord. This car has served me well w/205,000 miles but was sending me signs like constantly needing repairs. So I started the search looking until I found the right car. I ended buying another Honda Accord but this time I bought 2021 Honda Accord w/16,000 miles, almost new. Neither Honda or Toyota make the 6 cylinder car anymore but I bought a 2.0L w/252 HP & an Automatic transmission NOT the Continuously Variable Transmission or CVT which can have problems like overheating, slippage, loss of acceleration and can be quite expensive to repair. The car I bought is beautiful but I miss my 2011 V6 Honda Accord. Time will tell if this replacement will live up to my old Accord. It's a nice car but not quite the juice &!acceleration of my V6.

I am probably going to regret writing this review in the future, but so far, this dealership has been fine. I will admit that I do have my issues with some things, but the customer service that I have gotten from this specific dealership has been pretty good. The saleswoman Bebe was actually pretty good and direct. I kind of knew what I wanted, but she helped me pick out a few options which was nice. The one thing I wished was a little more clear was the amount of time it took to get this car. It took almost two months which nobody really told me was "normal" for Spring 2023. Nobody simply has cars right now. The one thing that probably soured me the most was this weird "dealer fee" that they are tacking on all the cars. They are selling the cars ABOVE their stated price online. I am not talking warranties or upgrades, just cold hard CASH above the car. They claim its because they are so rare. I think it has to do with them trying to make a quick buck. This freaked out my dad so much that they negotiated the fee down twice with me. This dealer is not the only one to do this, but this is incredibly shady. When it came to pick up my car, they kept the deal the same (except for APR, but that wasn't really set in stone). I guess that is in the "win" column, especially with my trade in. I love the car, but I thought there was going to be a handful of other features on it. I guess I didn't read the whole specifications, but it seemed a bit weird. Either way, car dealerships are always a horrifying experience. Chicago Northside Toyota is a bit better and seem to somewhat care. I know that sounds like a low bar and a high rating above, but the whole experience was generally fine!

Bought a new car today. Daniel my salesman was great. No wasting time. Drove a couple cars and bought one in under 2 hours. Manager Tegan was also great to work with.

Really nice on the inside the layouts perfect. They also have really great coffee while you're waiting but it is generally Overpriced. Never know how long you really will wait but that sort of makes sense since it is huge. They do provide the free Lyft to anywhere within 5 mi radius from the place which is a plus but it just doesn't seem like the additional prices are worth that benefit. No negatives about the workers there as they do put on a big smile and are friendly but the overall corporate part of it is where it just doesn't fit right with me. They're plenty of local places that are probably much closer to you they should read the reviews for and not just go to your dealer unless you have a brand new car. For me it's just not worth it for my older Prius. To each their own. I felt like I was over-charged. Outside of the corporate prices I do need to give a shout out to the workers there as they did take me in as day when my light came on again so they could really check my computer on board of the car to then get a better read at the time and they basically figured out my problem so they work around the corporate standard prices to service you = ]If it wasn't for this I would give a 2 star review. I went in there to check for a recall and and I paid a lot of money to get it overall inspected to see if it's good to drive for Lyft and the inspection is very basic where I didn't feel like I knew anything additional about the car besides the very exterior parts of it.

Car dealers get low reviews. We switched to Northside for our new Highlander Hybrid Ltd because they get enough volume of cars coming in to find the pearl white ltd in this era of not being able to order a custom car. (Kind of cool IMHO to be up front, you'll pay more for rare RAV Prime). Our Highlander sales person Ewan was smart, knowledgeable, and nice. Some trips back and forth to get a fair price. We laughed "like Fargo". Darren in finance, also was very nice and reasonable with extended warranty and pre-paid car care. Toyota is a great reliable car. These guys were superior in getting us our car and being responsive, friendly, nice and reasonable. Thanks Ewan

I have been in contact with Matthew Arenstein in the sales department at Chicago Northside Toyota regarding purchasing a new 4runner TRD off road premium. At first, he was pleasant to deal with. He was eager to find a car that suited my needs and was quick to contact me when the dealership received a new 4runner allocation. However, Matthew became quite rude when I explained to him that I would not be willing to pay $5,000 over MSRP for "dealer adjustments". According to Matthew, I was lucky that this dealership was only marking up this car by $5,000. Matthew then proceeded to tell me to "do some shopping around". I then proceeded to explain to Matthew that I had been shopping around and found that most other dealerships were not marking up their 4runner TRD off road premiums. In a sneering response, Matthew told me to "come talk to [him] when that doesn't work out". Matthew then promptly hung up on me.I find it sad that Matthew and the folks at Northside Toyota think that it's appropriate to speak to customers in this way. I also find it disheartening that they are willing to up charge customers $5,000 over the manufacturer suggested retail price. I'm all for paying a fair price and participating in good faith negotiations. Unfortunately, I can't say that Matthew and the rest of the staff at Northside Toyota are willing to do the same.

I wanted to wait a couple months before writing my review, which I am sorry for the people reading this late. Just like any other dealer I have learned they are there looking out for themselves and nobody else. It's all about you knowing what goes into the bill at the end and seeing how high the interests you will be paying. Feel free to do your own research because you will get robbed blindly. I'm not saying for this dealership specifically, im saying for ALL. It's rare to find an honest one but I recommend going out in the far suburbs in my opinion. There is no need to get a extended warranty than the one you are already are coming out with. Hope this helps!

Very low car stock, prices for used 2 year old with 36k miles on 4Runner is $10k less than a new. So much for used now. Limited stock, not really a buyer's market now. Great to sell though now as it's used car market. Bebe was very friendly though.

The Bob Loquercio Auto group is the proud owner of the Chicago NortHside Toyota location that I have been frequenting for years. They used to be at Bryn Mawr and Broadway but moved to the Peterson and Western location once the old Z-Frank Chevrolet dealership was demolished . This is a new state of the art Toyota Facility with a comfortable waiting area where you are not in top of others while waiting for your car to be serviced. I live near O'Hare airport and I make the extra drive to This Toyota dealership because they treat you like family and won't oversell their service and tell you you need something you don't actually need. Bill N is a service advisor and great to deal with! If looking for a Toyota or service for your Toyota. I recommend coming to this location or if in the northwest suburbs try Fox Lake Toyota. Another Toyota under the Bob Loquercio name.
