I strongly advise against bringing your car to this establishment unless you are personally acquainted with the owner. Otherwise, you are likely to be overcharged and taken advantage of.
In my experience, I was initially quoted $100 for a brand-new part, and then $220 for two hours of labor. When I agreed to the work, I was informed that merely inspecting the car would cost $70. Since the car had already been inspected, I consented to proceed. However, the technician later called me to say that the job was more complicated than anticipated and that the total cost would now be $300.
This was despite my understanding that the cost was agreed upon as $150. If I had known the price would escalate, I wouldn’t have proceeded.
In summary, the establishment is likely to overcharge and exploit customers. I will never return and advise others to be cautious. While I ended up paying, it was clear that the technician was taking advantage. Not to mention, leaving garbage in my car.
, I do not recommend this place at all.

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!! my car was stolen on NOVEMBER 30,2023 and the shop owner with the glasses refused to pay or any damages,my belongings,nd keys he told the police he wasn’t paying for anything because It’s not his problem I asked for his business license and insurance he failed to provide that information he have a bad attitude and kept hanging the phone up saying it’s not his problem

Expert qualified service and repair for European vehicles! My VW Tiguan had a catastrophic engine failure and needed a new engine. I was provided options and provided a detailed explanation of what occurred. I decided to moved forward with complete engine rebuild. I was given updates throughout the process. My VW is now fixed and running great! I would not trust anyone else with this type of work. You cannot take shortcuts with European vehicles; Chicago Motors has the proper equipment and knowledge to service your premium car/suv!

These guys are great! I had a pretty simple muffler fix that i'm sure BMW would have charged me a ton for. These guys did fast and at a fair price. Plus, they're dog friendly:-)

Rick and company do a great job. They did an awesome & thorough job on the clutch for my Infiniti (not the simplest job on a rusty Midwest chassis) and communication was excellent throughout even texting me pictures in the process. Not pushy, and they reminded me to BREAK in the clutch! I definitely would have forgotten. Recommend these guys.

I had a really great experience here with Rick. They're not trying to rip you off or take your money like most car places. I came in with an engine light message and some other messages showing on my dash board. They did a diagnostic and fixed the issue. Rick did recommend another service if i get the same issue again. I can appreciate him saying i think it's resolved but if the problem comes back up we will do this. Most places would have just taken my money. I totally RECOMMEND Rick and his crew.
