Very fun little mini museum. Lots of arcade game history. Many arcade video games that are free to play. Well worth a visit.

Super fun spot - definitely got my $8 worth in game play and it was fun to revisit some classics I’ve totally forgotten about.

We had such a fantastic experience having our son’s 10th birthday party here. The staff is super helpful and set up tables and chairs for us. The kitchen was great to set up pizza and cake. Most importantly, the kids had an absolute blast playing all the video games! The parents also wanted to play the games at pickup. We’ll be back for sure!

We had our son's 8th birthday party with a group around 30 people. It was a a great space for both kids and nostalgic adults. The owner Jonathan was very responsive to all my questions via phone and emails and his employee, Ethan was very helpful the day of the event. There are plenty of games to explore, and the place was spacious for our size group. Bathrooms and kitchen were clean and equip. Highly recommend

Clean, close to everything, and convenient booking/access. Definitely would recommend to anyone visiting Chicago. The street is quiet and across from the 606. Around the corner is Dark Matter, a liquor store, and a few pubs. About a block down is the blue line.... easy peasy access from O'Hare airport.

These folks love gaming. A humble and very modest (small) arcade coming from an educational, nonprofit angle. $8 gets you an all access pass to two floors and a broad-based insight into video gaming history. Exhibits are shown on both floors, elevator can be used by request.Has periodic exhibits and a very low bar of entry. Cabinets are sourced from the local arcades in the area.Fairly family friendly, but keep in mind some of the games on the floor are M-rated.

This place is so fun! My son had his 9th birthday party here and everyone had a blast. The staff were really kind and welcoming and the family friendly atmosphere made it a great space for both the kids and adults. An incredible, multigenerational experience. Duck Hunt and Mortal Kombat were the biggest faves!

So cool! So nostalgic! Play all your favorite video games from 70s arcade to 90s consoles. Two floors of fun. Right off the 606 bike trail. I am surprised this place is not more well known! Definitely worth a visit. Check hours as believe it is open only on weekends. You can also rent the place for overnight stays.

We need more spaces dedicated to video game art and history. Chicago Gamespace is filling that niche, and is improving as time goes on.
