I have to say the managers, specifically Nicholas Malvin, does not know what he’s doing. I’m closing on a home so we were on a time crunch and my parents had written a check to be deposited into my account. Due to the amount, there was a hold but multiple chase representatives (as well as the ones in Oak Brook where I deposited the check) said there is a way to override the hold once the check is posted and sufficient funds are proven. Since I live in downtown, we went to this branch and Nicholas was like “we can’t override the hold, you should have wire transferred.” He gave me a number to call to release the hold. I called that number and the Chase representative on that line was like the branch could’ve easily released the hold if proof of funds was shown (which it was as my dad was with me). We went to another branch today, and they took care of it within 10 minutes. Clearly the managers and Nicholas in specific don’t know how to do certain aspects of their jobs. He even left me a voicemail saying “as I mentioned you should’ve wire transferred - there is nothing we can do to expedite the hold”. Given the amount, a wire transfer would’ve also been flagged and held per the other Chase representatives we spoke to and we were advised the best way to do it was via check. Nicholas should definitely get some further training and have knowledge about certain processes before being labeled as a “manager” of the branch.

I needed to get some cash before heading to the Apple Store. Thankfully, there was a Chase near by. After entering at this Chase Bank, I was pleased to get my cash withdrawal. It took a matter of minutes to get my cash taken out from my account. This is a very convenient location for a Chase Bank since it’s blocks away from business buildings and shopping locations. I’ll definitely be coming back for any financial purposes in the future. Keep up the great work!

Avoid depositing cash with a teller named NathanThey counted my deposit as withdrawal. Reviewed the video footage but when I contacted the team they had the wrong date but they insisted they viewed the right one. When they put me in touch with the executive team, they claimed they have reviewed the video footage another time but after speaking with other folks from executive team - they said the video was only reviewed once and not reviewed by them again ; and who know what was shared. So be careful - use the atm and if you had a similar issue, file a subpoena asap. I was stupid enough to trust them and their process which went over the 3 month period in which the video gets deleted. Of course it wasn’t until then when they laid out the correct steps to get the video released. Police report and branch escalation and executive office all didn’t serve me to get my video reviewed with the correct steps.

Both Michelle Johnson and Marisa Terry were very helpful when I was trying to get my money back after my account was somehow hacked, even though I left Chase, appreciate you both

Randomly closed with no explanation at 3pm on a Thursday. Why have a branch if you can’t keep posted hours accurate?

The worst ever place.I have bank accounts in 3 different countries. I have MBA and speak 3 different languages, so I would think I am enough educated to deal professionally with anyone.I went to the bank to get few updates on my account. The cashier said I have to call customer service, which makes no sense as I am already standing in the branch, so I can't understand why I need to call customers service. So he took my card and ID (which is another story these days as I have unauthorized charges on my account now) and walked away with my card and ID to the managers office. She came out and started yelling at me and treated to call the police just because I asked to help with my bank account.I am not sure how personal like this can be a manager; she was absolutely unprofessional, not willing to help, and didn't bother to even try to help. The worst experience ever had through my life in a professional environment. Never going back to this branch and doing businesses in this bank.

Very pleasant experience. Banker Shantera Moore was very polite, professional and so nice. She even complimented my hand writing. I also like this Chase location, because they are the only one in the area that open on Saturday which saved me many times.

Bad, bad Jamie. On all accounts. I have closed my account not because of the day to day service or the branch workers. The reason Is the political game playing of the CEO.

Let me start our by saying that the Manager of the bank is a star Michelle Johnson and her banker Nicholas 5 stars. What is not a star is the methodology of Chase value recognition of their customers and the very discrediting of their own employees by failing to provide staff on the back end( home office) who document what they do and make sure it is in the system. What goes sideways at Chase is the communication systems; the changes to software the public suffers through and the chain of people you are passed onto after being in hold forever . So here are my stories: By the way you can never get through in the webiste where you have your account to make a complaint because they just come back and state call the customer service line but then it is just a circle of getting pushed from one person to the other. The method behind all thsi just discourages you from pursuing it and you walk away. It does not matter if it is this Chase location; chase 1-877 ;Chase Minnesota or Chase Chicago. Story #1 In June 2019 my daughter and I bought a house in Minnesota which will become my forever home. The loan was sold to Chase who took it because it was a high interest rate. Despite great credit we elected not to put as much down as we could have and ended up with PMI and 4.25% After two years and considerable investment we knew house was worth far more. We decided to REFI and upon calling Chase on a Sunday were immediately redirected to another person to get us going. She lost all of our data and called the next day. She then proceeded to get it wrong again and added a house onto to refi we do not even own that was my daughters previous address. She proceeded to get it wrong many more times and finally said we could make a complaint and her manager was called to call back immediately. BUT she did not. What she did was to have the agent call us and make an apology to which we asked for someone else to handle our REFI. He said "OH REFI takes about three months; the best rate we can give you in 3.05 and lots of closing fees. We were 6 figure clients, great credit and stability. Its the Chase rule to discourage you and you give up. Chase appraised our home at $405k just to ensure we could not drop PMI He lasted about two weeks and fell off the earth. No one called us; said oops he quit...or was fired?? Chase did not care. We terminated our REFI. We went to Amerisave; 2.875; closing credits, no PMI; house appraised at $425K. Hmm I said once again the Chase rule to discourage you. We closed Amerisave 16 days; got money back at close. We never got a thank you for paying off our Chase mortgage. We got a notice that said we see you paid off the mortgage and oh by the way you can lock in these credit cards if you apply. Story #2 My husband died and I needed to open up an Estate account after I sold the house. 1 hour to set up the account; show court ordered documents I was in charge of the estate and we got an verbal approval over the phone. I moved after that and Chase claims they mailed me a letter about the legal inaccuracies of me being the Admin of the Estate. I never got the letter. Setting at Chase they would not tell me what the letter was about on the 1-877 number but I figured it out. Why? Because the person on the main office who got those docs failed to do his job and send them on to the back end its called. They placed a hold on my account. I could not order checks. They did not tell the bankers; they never emailed me; or called me and blamed me nicely " Oh we mailed it to you 8/24" we all know mail in Chicago and I had to file a complaint at USPS. Where is my mail?? They refused to clear the account until they had a chance to review my papers a second time with my husbands money tied up in the account. The cook county court document in question???????? I was not a happy girl and wasted 1 hour on the phone that day and almost two hours at the bank. It has taken till today to get my account clear. Chase Corporation does not care. Michelle Johnson cares. Nicholas Cares. But the very threads...the stuff heroes are made

Chase is a great bank with a friendly staff but my God, I’d never open a CD here.. they offer an interest rate of .01% which is as close to nothing as you can get. I have since invested in hex cryptocurrency. It works just like a CD but it’s online. I’m earning an average of 40% apy daily.. that’s better than the stock market. I will continue to look at other banks but no where is going to come even close to Hex. Check out hex.com if your interested in CDs or money markets.

I wish I could get a job working for this company. the employees are always pleasant with the exception of the beverly location on crime infested 95th street. thank you for the money orders, it beats the I dont need your money or your business usps located in blue island, congressmen Rush has some of the worst attitude business in his area including the mail delayed usps I wish congressman rush would retire, so that the devil that work for the city of blue island would let me live free from involuntary confinement. I would hate to end up living in a group home in dixmoor like the poor people they had to rescue with the help of the fire department. defunded people get treated worst than illegals in congressman rush area. why would i need a excellent credit score i can not afford any type of financing with no job prospects. I have not worked in over 25 years which is why i begged the bank clerk to just give me some money. I need grants not loans. i need a job placement also.

The science is clear and the folks in this photo know it. If we are to avoid the worst effects of the climate crisis, Chase Bank must stop being the largest funder of fossil fuels and become a leader in renewable energy lending. I was proud to support the folks doing this climate justice sit-in. They understand how important it is to #defundclimatechange.
