I came over 15 minutes before closing on Valentine’s Day. I needed help with work account and of course there was a line. I was ready to leave and come over other day, but one of the employees (his name is Andy) went above and beyond to help me. He stayed with me and was very patient and nice. Even though his work day was over, he took his time to help me and answer all my questions in calm manner without any rush. More than that, he gave me advices how to handle my account in future. This guy showed excellent customer service, he made me feel welcomed and comfortable.

I’m writing this review pursuant to a complaint I made with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation against Ana Cabrera at Chase Bank, 141 W Jackson Blvd, Chicago, IL 60604.Ana Cabrera refused to give me access to my Mom's Chase accounts in October 2020 so I could pay her rent even though I had a court order granting me Temporary Guardianship over all financial decisions.I needed this access to pay her rent or she would've been evicted out of her apartment building while she was ill in the hospital as well as mounting healthcare bills.Ana and Darren (alleged branch manager) went back and forth with me as well as my lawyer I had procured thru my legal plan at work, even though I was listed as a beneficiary on my Mom's savings account! At one point they refused to speak to my lawyer even though I had authorized him to speak on my behalf. Ana Cabrera was in violation of an Illinois court order and potentially in contempt of court by refusing to give me access to my Mom's Chase accounts while she lay bedridden, incapacitated and dying. Ana said she had to contact the Chase law department but could never give me or my lawyer the phone number so that sounded phony too.My Mom, Cheri J. Burns passed away on December 15, 2020.Please note Ana Cabrera has denied even seeing me, knowing me, remembering me or interacting with me thru a complaint I logged with the Better Business Bureau.

I used to work at Cboe and went in this bank all the time. Now, not so much. So I go in there to pay my real estate taxes and withdraw $100 because I don't have my debit card with me. So I fill out a form to withdraw the funds to transfer to pay my real estate taxes and withdraw $100 in cash. I fill out the form, they ask for my driver's license, which I provide, they ask my to type in my SSN which I do, they ask for a second photo ID which I give them, they then ask to send me a code at which point I say, "if my identity is stolen and the person stealing it wants to pay my real estate with it, I'm okay with it." THis was ridiculous. I cancel the transactions and walk out having gotten nothing accomplished. It was a complete waste of time. ADditionally, I've had CHase turn down two legitimate charges to my credit card. I think something has changed and their internal controls are not working but all it's doing for me as a customer of many decades with a fair amount of money with them, is inconvenience me.

The bank associate wasn't very helpful. He didn't even tried the alternative options to help my nephew set up a Chase Liquid account. He have attitude the whole time and wasn't please on helping us. I will not recommend to open an account on this branch. Disappointed. I think he wouldn't help because we're minority.

After striking out trying to get a Medallion Signature at the Printer's Row branch on Dearborn, I decided to come by this one on my lunch break since it was close to work. Right when I came in, I was greeted by the Assistant Vice President, Su Dong, and he was happy to help me out. He walked me back to his desk and went over my paperwork. Not only did he happily give me the Medallion Signature I needed, but also answered some questions I had about future investment strategies. I will definitely be back to this branch for my future banking needs.

Would not go back! In November/Decemeber I went in with a simple request to order a new card since my current one was not working properly at stores. I spoke with Angela at the branch and she assured me she ordered the card and it will be delivered in 2-3 weeks. Recently, I followed up with Chase to see where my card was. It turns out she NEVER ordered the card. I'm puzzled as to what she was doing on the computer during the 30 minutes I sat at her desk.

AWFUL. All my accounts that were set-up here were done poorly. I've been in hell for year trying to get everything fixed. One example of the ridiculous... I have a Chase credit card and Chase checking. I got a letter from my credit card that said they rejected my checking account, charged me $180 in fees, and put a hit on my credit report. When it happened a second time, I almost exploded. Switched to US Bank.

This is my least favorite Chase. Ever. By far. The one at Jackson and Wells is moderately better. Kind of like how stale bread is moderately better than moldy bread. But at least it's edible.
