As a first time home buyer you can only hope to have people that will be clear, honest, and educational, because you don't know what you don't know. The CFS team was all of these things. Jeff and Nick were super responsive and had answers for all of my questions, and Jeff in particular took the time to outline in detail what to expect, timelines, and the importance of particular things. You can't expect someone to know everything (even though it seems like he does), but when Jeff and Nick say they'll find out and get back to you, they do so and do it in detail. Thanks so much for making our home buying experience less terrifying!

Jeff Entratter is not at all professional. I had a very bad experience with him. He is good at promising, but he does not deliver. I lost an offer to a good home because he did not performed. Every time he was late, called him to find out what's going on. He would say either he was traveling or was sick!! Do not risk your home closing with Jeff.

I finally made the big life move and purchased my own condo. I had no idea coming into this how stressful the whole situation would be, and yes, it was stressful, BUT I have to give major kuddos to Jeff who I was initially referred to by my realtor agent. He was extremely helpful in getting me set up for success throughout this process and I admire his honesty in everything, especially with his consideration on what I could truly afford and still be comfortable financially with. He always made it very clear that he was there for me throughout the entire process and that I could really call him almost whenever (and yes, even after the typical 5pm closing time. I wanna say he said I could call him up until like 9 pr 10pm!. Just overall a very easy going guy who is really there to help first-time home buyers feel comfortable. Also, Daniel was the one I communicated most towards the end of my escrow and up until my closing. He answered all of my questions, and made everything streamlined so that I could send over all the proper documents in a timely fashion and get what he needed from me to facilitate the process. I would 100% recommend this group to help you with your mortgage loan process on a property, and they've been nothing but helpful for me. Thanks again CFS!

Doug Moline and his team were a huge help for me through my first mortgage. he was with me for the long haul and I really appreciate his help through the whole process, I got a great rate and a fixed rate at that.

A month of hell buying an inexpensive coop. The representative was sparky from the first phone call when he informed me that he had done his research on me. That was just the beginning. He requested documents which I sent. His assistant then requested the same documents and I sent them a second time and then a third request. Thank God I copied my realtor and my attorney on all of the emails. Evidently this "quasi Chicago celebrity" is the only game I town if you're buying a coop. I wish I had gone with a condo instead but I love my building and the residents. It's over so alls well that ends we.

As a real estate attorney, I have worked with Chicago Financial Services on co-op loans in the past and their knowledge and service have been great. As a buyer looking to purchase a co-op for myself I have found their knowledge and expertise invaluable and would recommend anyone considering a Chicago co-op to work with CFS.

CFS could be Clown F*&%@# Show. We knew that financing a Co-op purchase was tricky, but were told these guys were the best. Our loan person disappeared the day the loan commitment was due on our purchase. The requests for information were ongoing and vague. It was clear that they did not know what they were asking for and couldn't even read a P&L. We own a small business, have SBA loans through our bank and solid credit ratings. A week before we were to close they sent over a statement that we were to have our financial advisor sign; the statement was demonstrably false, we were embarrassed to even ask. We did, and they declined. In the end, these BOZOs could not get us financed; we ENDED UP PAYING CASH FOR THE PROPERTY. Run, do not walk, to any other broker.

It was a very painful experience. Notifications were not sent in a timely fashion and it took far to money emails and calls to get their error corrected.

Jeff Frank was such a helpful and thoughtful officer when shopping for mortgage rates. He not only is someone who works hard for those who work with him, he's incredibly thoughtful and insightful. I would recommend him to anyone who asks. I only know of one other agent who has grit like him!

I'm not a finance expert but thank goodness Jeff Entratter is. He explained many options and what would best be tailored for my situation, walked me through the process and communicated all the way through the closing. My rate was better than others who claim to have the best rates and I didn't have to work to negotiate it down. That was the rate offered. I couldn't be more pleased. Thank you Jeff and Chicago Financial Services. You'll forever be my go-to if purchases or refinances arise in the future!
