I had the pleasure of visiting this wonderful Irish gift shop in Chicago. The reason being that I will be volunteering in Ireland soon and wanted to get a little immersed in what the culture is like. I was welcomed by the owner Cecilia and we had a pretty long chat which I enjoyed very much learning about Ireland a little bit. The items in the shop were wonderful and they even sold Irish food items! She recommended these beautiful Celtic soft cozy gloves with finger touch sensors which were perfect for my upcoming trip and approved of my choice of dinner at the Irish pub down the block(Irish stew which was OMG amazing by the way!) I'll be back soon to catch up with Cecilia! Great shop.

I came in here to make a special order for an event, and they were so helpful and accommodating! The sodas they sell ala carte are also so delicious. I was a big fan of the Irn Bru!

A lovely little gift store. I got some presents for my piano teacher, the great Dave McNally himself. The lady who runs the joint is very warm and friendly too

My friends and I had the worst interaction we’ve had at this store with the owner. She was extremely rude, accusatory and blatantly lost any kind of business from myself or my friends in the future. We were visiting from out of state and decided to stop by the shop. We found a few post cards with different names on them and words to describe what the names mean. My friend was so excited to find her name and also felt the postcard described her perfectly. She decided to send a picture of the card to her grandmother to share her excitement before she bought the post card. Out of nowhere, the owner (very very rudely) told us that we were stealing and kept repeating that taking pictures is stealing. Mind you, we saw no sign saying taking pictures aren’t allowed. My friend who lives in town tried to calmly explain that we are from out of town and didn’t realize, but she ignored his comment and told us to buy the post card or we were considered to be stealing it. Embarrassed and upset, my friend mentioned she was sorry and said she would delete the picture. The owner then rolled her eyes and said she knew the photo could be recovered. At that moment, myself and all of my friends left rather than spending money somewhere where we were accused of being thieves. There is a way to explain your rules, and I recommend the owner find a more reasonable and less rude way to explain them.

I love this place! The owner added extra oil samples for my dad when I told her he was recovering from surgery. She’s so sweet and conversational with the customers. Neighborhood gem ?

Great spot to pick up Irish food, soup, bread, or anything for the Irish fry up. Also plenty of Irish gifts. Well worth a visit!
