Hidden gem, they have hot food in the back that slaps. Come on the weekend and try that amazing carnitas. Always have the freshes looking produce and all the Mexican favs here. Great prices to boot.

If you've been to a corner story in any metropolitan area, you've been here before. It's neither bad nor good. It's small. The produce is limited. There's not a lot of variety. I poked my head in to buy facial tissue, and I was impressed that they had two varieties (one I'd never heard of and the other a well-known brand). I got to the register, and the cashier was busily talking to a guy who came in before me. I started to feel slightly invisible until she finally acknowledged me a minute or two later. I very rarely keep cash on me (long story) so debit and credit cards (or digital pay) are my go-tos. The debit/credit card machine is in an awkward spot on the other side of the belt, so you have to lean over to pay. I have never seen credit card machines positioned like this. Ever.But she immediately stopped me to tell me any payment must be a minimum of $3. I left. The facial tissue was something I could get later with a bigger order, but they didn't have anything else in there I wanted that was worth spending $3 outside of junk food.Although I won't visit again, it's OK for the kind of things you may want to buy from dollar stores and general items for cooking. The prices aren't bad either.

I shop here multiple times a week. Rainah(spelling) is so nice. She gave me a Holiday card. Felicia is also incredibly nice. However, the young woman(I'm married, 48 year old college graduate) so I appreciate basic costumer service and the two I named are beyond excellent. The young girl is outright rude and unprofessional. I shouldn't have to deal with her outright nasty behavior if I'm shopping. I'm not going back. I live three blocks away. I'm posting this on social media as well. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and after 15 or more awful experiences over the course of two years, I'm out. Today she rang me up while having a complete conversation with the customer behind me. She always manages to ingnore my basic customer service needs because of what? Hate a stranger? My look? I'm confused. I had to post. Happy Spring.

I like that things aren't overpriced, the staff don't talk to you unless you talk to them. However I do wish that there were more vegetables, fruits, and low-fat options!
